I'm waiting to hear something about Synergy. I take many of the Beverly products and this is a product that I'm really interested in hearing about people's results.

I took Muscle Synergy for about 8 weeks this summer in preparation for a contest. I started it about the same time as Ultra 40's and Muscle Provider, so it's hard to tell exactly which products were doing what, but I hardened up a lot within the first few days. (My inclination is that it was the Ultra 40's). I forgot to take the Synergy's occasionally and noticed my pump was slightly less when I didn't take them, but the difference wasn't huge. Beverly has a lot of controlled studies supporting the product, and creatine, glutamine, and arginine are all great supplements. (I've heard both ways about the effects of HMB on highly trained athletes:
MY RECOMMENDATION: If it is on your Beverly plan and if your budget allows it, but one bottle (about 15 day supply). Start using it and don't change any other part of your diet/supplementation/training protocols. Note your effects, and if it works for you, keep taking it. Please post your results as well so others can learn about the product. |

my experience with muscle synergy was very similar to Jeremy. In January 2003 I began 8 tablets first week then increased to 16 second to 8 week.
I was at a plateau for the previuos three months. My begining stats 182 @ 15% ending after 8 weeks 192 @ 14% My upperleg increased by 1" diameter My Bench Press increased from 285 to 315 The most growth I have had at anytime in my histry Only change was Musle Synergy I am not a competitor but I love to lift and experiment with nutrition. I recently went 8 weeks on no work outs and fast food. I want get some idea of possible progress with Muscle Synergy / Glutamine Select /Creatine Select Combo. Will let everyone know the results as I progress. I am now in week two. I am tracking weight / Skinfolds / strength / measurements. Jon |

Well, it has now been about 30 days. I am doing 12 in the morning and 15 in the afternoon. (why I settled on those numbers I am not sure), but I have gained 6 lbs. and my lifts have jumped pretty nicely to say the least. And maintained this. I went up to 100 lb. dumbbell benches, which I hadn't done in years, and am adding reps. The gains have slowed, though other lifts that did not gain as fast are now starting to go up. I am very much stronger in everything. This is my last gaining phase, through November into December, and the first of the year time to start dieting for March. Muscle Synergy is the real deal, and if I can budget it, I will never be without it again! Anyone have any idea if it is good to cycle off for any time?

Cycling off, my understanding, is not necessary.
I went off Synergy and went to a 3X per week powerlifting phase for 6 months. I haven't gained but 2 lbs and am smooth. I had great, thick abs last year before surgery and before phasing out the Synergy. I feel, if you take the Synergy out, you're going to lose some of the mass. Frank |

It is to my understanding that you do not have to cycle the Synergy. Basically it is just a combination of arginine, glutamine, and creatine none of which are toxic. However I personally think that all supplements should cycled. To help prevent too much of a tolerance also as a mental issue you kinda get used to the results then when you come off then go back on you will notice the results more.
