How long do any of the shakes last in the fridge? I use 2 scoops of either UMP or US and 4tbs of cream in the US I use 1/3 cup of oatmeal, how long do these last in the fridge before they go bad?

I'm only basing this on personal experience and preference, but I don't ever let a shake go further then the end of the day on which I make it. I don't know if it'll hurt me, but something about the taste just isn't right to me if I let it sit overnight. As a general rule though, I try to drink shakes as soon after they are blended as possible.

Thanks for your input, I have to make my shakes the night before or the morning of each day otherwise Ill make excuses and cheat. Plus, Im on the road in sales alot so theres no blenders, ice etc just easier for me. I was just wondering if I could make it longer than that so I can make 2-3 days worth in advance to save even more time each day.

The only thing I would not trust is the cream in the mix for more than a day!

I know what you mean Gorillahh; I have kind of a wacky schedule and it would be so much easier to make the shakes at night and just grab them in the morning. Here is a couple suggestions that might help if you want to try making them the day of:
1. Go to bed 10 minutes earlier and wake up 10 minutes earlier the next day, giving yourself plenty of time to mix shakes before your day starts. 2. Make it a priority to make your shakes before you do anything else eg. eat breakfast, take a shower, get dressed, etc. That way they are fresh and you start to develop a habit. 3. If your shakes are just powders (no blender necessary), put them in zip lock bags the night before, get a seperate shaker cup for each shake you plan to drink during the day, and hit a quickie mart to get some cold water or milk to mix with. That way you have a fresh shake whenever you have time to drink one. This is also a great strategy for those times when the only thing you can find is a drive through...kind of an emergency shake. Individual MRP packs are great for this. If all else fails and you have to make shakes in advance, I would say stick to a 24 hour rule just to be on the safe side. Hope this helps.
