I know there has been much written on creatine select dosing on this discussion board. Dosages are commonly referred to as one or two scoops with the advice that females should take one scoop. At the same time, the wisdomed advice seems to be that the appropriate dose for most females, like myself, is 5 grams. The Beverly creatine select container that I have states that one scoop equals 12 grams. Could someone clear this up for me?
No, that's 12 grams of the total powder weight, not the creatine content. Creatine content is 5 gr. Remember, you have other compounds in there like the beta alanine, maltodextrin, sodium phosphate, etc.
