I just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know how great Beverly Supplments are! (As if you didn't already know!) Listen, last year when I was getting ready for the Northern Kentucky my strength really went down. I was having trouble benching 185lbs and had to go all the say down to 135lbs, 2 weeks from the show. I just became very week on the diet. Not the case for my shows in October. I am about 4 weeks out from the show and I am actually increasing weights and getting stronger in the gym. I went down initially when I first started the diet but I am going back up. Just yesterday on my last set on bench, 8 reps, I did 255 and gave myself a star to increase to 260 next week!!
Also, my weight, basically right now it is staying the same 171lbs. Why is this a big deal? Because I am getting leaner everyday. So at this point I am actually increasing muscle on a precontst diet! So what's the difference. Muscle Synergy and Creatine. I did not use either of these products during my precontest phase for my show in March. I take 16 Synergy a day. 5 in the morning, 6 before I train, and 5 before my evening meal, so I get a constant flow. Creatine I take 2 scoops with glutamine during training. I start sipping it prior to get it into my system. This is in addition to every else you would need for a precontest diet.

Right now (5 weeks out) I am on Plan 2-C from the Beverly Workshop book (pg. 20.) Next week I will be moving to Plan 3-A (pg. 23) until the final week before the contest.
That is a great diet and the first one I used when I first hooked up with Beverly. I saw some great results! Just be consistent. The diet's I'm doing now are to get ready for contest's in October.
Yea i can see a difference in my body on this program. I dont feel like garbage as i have on previous diets my abs are starting to show i can start to see 4 of them in the am lol. And best of all i have only lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks since switching it from a weight gain to loss with losing a couple notches on the belt. call me crazy but it seems as muscle is gaining and fat is going away at the same time. the only concern i have is the calipers show me at 16% body fat and 3 weeks ago i was 15% but the mirror cant be lying can it be? I will be tested again and see this week. Vinny i am taking muscle synergy now if i add creatine now do i still need to load it 4-5 times for a week or am i ok to just drink during workout since i have it in the system already?
I don't load creatine. I only load it the last week right before my shows. I mix 2 scoops of creatine along with 2 scoops of glutamine select. I start sipping it 15 minutes prior to my workouts. As far as calipers. Dude whatever the mirror looks like works for me. The mirror is all you need man. Your buddies aren't going to be standing on the beach with calipers.
