Just saw a post on www.bodybuildingworld.com that said beverly came out with a new product called 'Density'

Read the write up on this product. Still kind of confused about it. Any Bev employee care to explain a little more?

Well I am not a current Beverly employee but I used to be.

I will let the current employees answer the question in more detail but let me tell you I read the article this evening also and I have never ever been more excited for a release of a supplement than I am about Density.

I have been around for the release of Muscle Synergy, Glutamine Select and UMP and although they are great products they all pail in comparison to the excitement I am feeling toward the release of this product.

I am so excited in fact that I have notified 3 people I am helping for the Northern Kentucky that I am adding a supplement to their menu.

Density may be a new release but it is a "Old School" product. Probably more "Old School" than Ultra 40 or the Vitamin Paks.

When I was doing Nationals close to 10 years ago now Roger gave me 5 bottles from his personal inventory of an amino acid product that Beverly no longer made, he basically told me this was a great product and was the holy grail of all amino acid formulas. I used it before the last 2 weeks before big shows and one of its main ingredients was L-Tryptophan.

At that point I hoped and prayed that Beverly would come out with a tryptophan product in the future. I didnt have a whole lot of faith that they would because it was such a difficult product to produce but now that they have it makes me want to compete again!

Since I'm preparing for a few contests this year, I'm very interested in this product. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

definitely interested in trying this product....I'm going to start prepping for my next show approx. April 1 (for an Oct. show....long/gradual diet...using Layne Norton)...Glad Bev came out w/ an amino acid product....Question is, w/ Mass Aminos, Muscularity, and now density....How do we figure what to take/when.

I'll stick with my Muscle Synergy for now. When will DENISTY be available?

I also spoke to a long time beverly user this weekend who used this supplement before it was discontinued--he was also VERY excited this was coming back out and said he had already ordered three bottles for himself. I might have to see what all the buzz is about with this stuff as Im 12 weeks out from the Northern.

This seems similar to the promise offered by Thermolife's E-BOL. Anyone know anything about E-BOL and can tell me how Density would be different or better?

only on 4th day of density, and i am only taking 10 tablets a day, 5 in am when I wake up and 5 5-ten minutes before my workout is over and i have noticed very positive results. the first i noticed was the terrrible bad mood it took away the first and second day, the third day i noticed what was usually killing me(lats) the day after training was not , but today i noticed the most interesting part. Strength gain on a diet. last monday(not taking density) i did preacher curls with 100 lb camber bar(10x3 with 45 sec rest period)barely got those last sets.
next week (today)after losing 2 pounds i tried 110 and surprisingly got it for 10 sets of 3 !!only the last set was tough. seems to be working for me. when it doesnt, ill step up the dosage.

From what I am reading, looks like the big edition is l-tryptophan to Density, an amino acid that was banned around 1990 due to a cmpany using genetic engineering to try and accelerate the production of tryptophan. People died, the FDA got involved and the rest is history. It was FINALLY allowed in dietary supplements in the US once again, which is why Density is now available. Tryptophan was previously available for animals, which consequently, I beleive is the same stuff made for actual human consumption according to a report on 60 Minutes. So, the only way to get tryptophan previously was for your dog (as you had to promise when ordering) unless you went through the trouble of getting a prescription.

If L-Tryptophan is the main ingredient in Density, that would imply much more per serving than in Mass Amino Tablets (58 mg per four tablets). the are 500 mg of all eaa's included in formulation serving size 5 pills. so, 100 mg per pill..


this stuff works. best workouts ive had in a year with density. im not taking creatine, or synergy and workouts levels and strength are still going up

Ive been on anywhere from 13 to 8 tabs a day, depending on whether it was a training day for four days.

Ive noticed I feel dryer and fuller. Ive only had two workouts while taking it, I felt stronger, but I did completely different workouts so its tough to judge. I am going to bench press tonight and see what happens when I add weight to the final set. Ill update tomorrow.

So far so good.

Did chest last night. Ive been working on a pyramind scheme 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1. On my 1 set I have been struggling to get 240. I know not much, but at 153 and in the 5% range, thats not bad either. Well anyways, last night I got 240 3 x with no assistance. Thats a drastic improvement.

The great thing is since Im pre contest I am eating the same thing day in day out and nothing changed in diet. Only thing different was the addition of Density.

I also have to say its much easier to do my morning cardio. So far I am really liking this stuff.......

Hmmm....I'll have to give Density a trial run in my offseason now. For my fall shows later this year, I plan on combining it with my beloved Musccle Synergy at 8 weeks out.

Should be beddy beddy interestink!

I have also purchased and started using Density.

Maybe we can get an idea from Roger, Rachel or someone else at Beverly what we can expect in terms of feel, body improvements or appearance.

With all the other Beverly products being taken and changes in workouts & diet it's really hard to tell what impact Density has considering it's a new product and folks are trying this for the first time.

Any comments?

My experience after taking for about 6 days.

Increased strength and energy. Feel drier, leaner, though Im cutting, so day after day that is something that is diet too. But, still feel fuller...

Cardio in morning on a few Densitys is easier.

J - I just got my first bottle of Density today...you've had it for four weeks or so, have you kept a good strength and energy increase? Where I'm going with this is that tonight for instance, I did arms (I'm on a heavy workout routine). Normally I can close grip 275 for four. Tonight I pushed out six. I didn't change a darn thing, just had a good night, ya know? Had I taken Density tonight, it would have been shear coincidence that my presses were better. I'm interested since you've been on Density and kept everything else fairly constant if you're ready to put your word behind its ability to contribute to a better work out (more energy and strength)

I have a question, during a typical season(much like a precontest period) i lose virtually all water weight, excess fat, and sadly some muscle too.. would density, in theory maybe help me retain muscle during that period?
