Relatively new to Beverly Int. have been using other products prior to beginning UMP. I was wondering if I should be using heavy whipping cream w/ this product?

Thanks for any info

UMP is delicious enough on its' own. Adding 2-4 tbsp of Heavy Cream is gonna boost that taste somewhere around the ice-cream Department!!!

But as always, what are your goals and what do you intend of doing with your diet? Once you have that in place, then you can add or subtract things like 2-4 tbsp heavy cream. Typically adding the cream to your shakes is for an Anabolic/Muscular weight gain phase, or the first few weeks of a Fat-Loss Diet.

And your goal is?......

Goal....Hmmmm..well at this point I would like to pack on as much muscle as possible while shedding some unwanted fat (sounds like all of us). A brief history: During late high school and college I was heavy into bodybuilding and actually competed when I was 19, however the years and jobs have taken their toll (I'm 33 now) and although I not fat by any means, I am not where I would like to be. I started hitting the gym hard about 3-4 weeks ago weighing about 228, I now step on the scale around 237-8 and I am 6-4".

Meal Plan:
Morning: 6 egg whites 2 yolks, 1/2 c oatmeal w/ milk, coffee

Mid-morning: 2 sc. UMP w/ milk protein shake

Lunch: 10 oz Chicken salad, whole wht brd, 1 c fat free cottage cheese

Afternoon: Protein bar

Pre workout: 1 scoop UMP w/ milk

Dinner: Chicken or steak, rice/bake potato, salad

Bedtime: something with protein

I am also on kre-alkyn and ZMA, it is extremely difficault to hit the 1.5 g of protein per lb of bodyweight for me. I work in the construction industry and packing my lunch is getting ridiculous Smile
I am thinking about starting Bev liver pills? Any help/suggestions would be nice. I guess I would really like to hit 250 then cut from there, maybe a natural show at some point however I have a long way to go....

sorry about the long post.

I love long posts. The more info, the better equipped we are to answering your questions.

So lean gain diet plan eh? Diet doesn't look to bad, if I were your I would drop the milk in your shakes and breakfast. For meal one I would add 4 oz of lean ground Beef, for your shakes: 2 scoops UMP w/4 tbsp of Heavy Cream. You can get away with the cottage cheese for now in the diet, that is fine.

My number one recommendation to anyone new to Beverly is Ultra 40 (liver tabs) and Mass Aminos with every meal. Start with 4 and 4 of each with every meal. All together this will add an extra 12 grams of Protein to each meal; that is an extra 72-84 grams of Protein a day! Not only that, the two manage to work synergystically to help you assimilate your foodstuff better for a higher protein yield during digestion!! You cannot beat these 2 products! Good luck!

Quick question regarding the cream.....you say to add it during the first few weeks of a fat loss diet, but can you please explain how heavy whipping cream helps to shed fat? Thank you!

First few weeks of a fat loss diet because HEavy Whipping Cream has anabolic properties from the saturated fats. Not only do they function to slow the absorption of amino's into your blood stream for a "continued release", but the specific saturated fats have "anabolic properties" that allow for lean mass retention during the first few weeks of fat loss dieting... that is if your diet is correct!

Rheo Blair found this out a LOOOOOOONG time ago and it is time tested and true. I don't know the specifics of the chemistry or wether it is related to hormonal shifts or not, but it does work!

I think hormonally it is widely known that fats/saturated fats contain high amounts of cholesterol, which in turn, can be converted to testosterone within the liver given the specific demands of a hard training athlete and a perfect anobolic enviornment (abumdance of EAA's, Non-essentials, BCAA's, etc)... and we all know that Testosterone is very anabolic... therefore Heavy Whipping Cream = anabolic properties.

.... to answer your question, the more muscle you can hang on to, the more fat you can shed. Hope all this jargen helps.
