I'm at 10 weeks out from my show and have recently started using Creatine Select and Glutamine Select. I've been loading Creatine Select (1 serving per meal, plus training) and taking 2 servings of Glutamine Select during each workout. Yesterday, after 3 days of this regimine, I noticed that I looked extremely bloated. I've also noticed I've been constipated since I started on these supplements. My water intake has stayed constant at 1.5 gallons/day and my diet hasn't changed.

I've also just started taking Mass Aminos and Ultra 40's (4 each per meal) and don't know if they affect water retention/hydration.

Today is my last day of loading, and I'm hoping that these problems will go away soon.

The creatine and glutamine selects should not cause the bloat.

Adding the Mass Aminos and Ultra 40's can initially cause some constipation and with it water retention. They will not cause water retention in and of themselves though...more likely the oppositve.

Back down to one of each per meal...if things start getting better or are better increase to two back up to four.

Drink more water!

All of the extra protein in the Mass, Ultra 40, Glut Select and your diet are going to increase the need for water.

I thought I had read a prior post saying that some people experienced bloating/constipating while on the loading phase with Creatine Select.

I definitely notice that my mouth is much drier and my lips are starting to get chapped -- I probably am dehydrated.

I've been consistently drinking 1.5-2 gallons each day (I use my Nalgene bottle to measure out exactly how much I'm drinking) and it seems like I'm always in the bathroom. At 10 weeks out, should I be drinking more than 2 gallons a day?
