Ok so I took Up-Lift for the first time last night. Before I get into my findings I want to give a bit of background. I am prepping for the Northern and am hardcore dieting. Last week I was at home working (do web development from my house) and I found myself just staring at my computer screen for over an hour trying to remember what I was supposed to be doing. (Had the carb depleted brain) Anyway I went to the gym last night (Friday). Friday's are always my least favorite day because I am worn out from the week and it just feels like I should be resting or having dinner with my family or friends instead of being in the gym and walking 4 miles on a stupid treadmill, mixed that was a super depleted brain and you get a gym experience that is not very fun. So yesterday I picked up some products for a few clients and one of my clients gave me half their Up-Lift bottle to try (nice guy huh?) He told it was awesome so I knew I was entering the gym with a placebo effect so I took that into consideration. Well as I got into my workout I started to notice something. I was starting to get a few extra reps. Not because I was stronger but because I just wanted to do extra reps. Now it could have been that I took in some high carbs a few days before but even then I had this kinda boost that made me just want to train more and harder. Very hard to explain. Many of you may remember back in the day the "white crosses" you could get in the gas station or recently the speed stacks or Endo Rush or Redline or you just take your pick! They gave a energy surge but it just was a bit weird and I did not feel well at all. Up-Lift was not like that. I felt good and I just wanted to stay in the gym. I have a beautiful wife waiting for me at home, 3 lovely children and a new "24" DVD that just arrived at my house and I was wanting to stay at the gym longer on a Friday, are you kidding me? I even grabbed a couple extra pieces of 5 gum and did extra cardio, good first day trying the product. I guess we will see how the remainder of the 7 weeks go and if it continues to help! I am dieting down for the Northern too. I used the Uplift on my last contest prep and it definitely gave me that extra Umph that I needed to keep training heavy while on low carbs. I took it out of the mix on the off season and just brought it back in this past week. I had a marathon gym session last night too because of the uplift. The stuff just rocks! But because it is a bit pricey for 15 servings, I only use it on trng days.

Hmm...perhaps it's just me, but I'm feeling a bit left out. Everyone who's tried UpLift RAVES about it. I haven't had that experience to this point, I'm sad to say. I'm especially let down because I purchased a 3 month supply for my diet. The other thing that concerns me is its consistency...doesn't seem to mix too well. Let's hope it hasn't hit me yet and my mid can still be changed. To be fair, however, most "energy" drinks really don't give me a huge kick of anything and I will say that while taking this stuff, my caffeine dependency has gone down a great deal. Hmmmph...any clues? It is like a finger pointing to the moon. Don't focus on the finger or you'll lose all the heavenly glory.- Bruce Lee

I am gonna have to agree with Flowride. I was kinda unimpressed with it. I thought Muscle Synergy was WAY better as far as pumps went. Energy?? Didn't notice any extra "Umph". Focus? Not really, although I never really had a problem with that? Anyways, I would definetly go with the MS over the Up-Lift. I noticed better workouts with just plain old dirt cheap L-Arginine/L-Onithine combo from NOW. Good stuff! Vijay Rock Puri, D.C.

A friend of mine also was unimpressed with it, both she and her husband prefer SuperPump 250. That has carbs in it and I cannot even try it on a pre-contest diet. But I have also found that if I have to slam two scoops with about one cup of water about 1/2 hour prior to my workout. If not, I don't really feel much of anything. I have tried to take those 2 scoops and sip throughout the workout and not the same effect.
