Musclean - 7 Keto Dhea and Hairloss

Hello,
I am a 31 year old male, less than 4 weeks out from my second show. I want to use Musclean and ready to order the product. My concern is with the 7 keto dhea and hairloss.
At 31, my hair is very important to me, especially being single. lol
I have most of my hair, except for the crown, which has been thin since I was 23. I haven't experience any real hair loss, maybe a little thinner than at 25 or so.
My dad has some of his hair, but the crown is gone for him at 70, my uncles are bald on my mom's side, except one.
I don't want to take anything that might even affect my hair 1%, is 7 keto dhea 100% safe in this way?? I don't want it to turn on some gene that might cause hairloss down the road either.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

You have a valid concern. I haven't personally had any problems with hair loss when using 7-keto. I take Saw Palmetto, as this is a blocker of DHT, which would cause hair loss. You should also look into Nioxin Shampoo.

Thanks Vince, Btw - I really admire you!!!
You are inspiration, I did my first show at LW and found that under 160 lbs is when I look my best. It took years of experimenting and finally doing a pre-contest diet to find out that under 160 I look like a bb.
The thing is that all the magazines and add feature huge monsters that I could never identify with.
You as LW pro, look better than most bloated monsters on the cover of Muscle Mag, plus you maintain your athleticism.

Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate that. I am like you and realized that I could never be 280lbs nor would I want to be!! I like the leaner smaller look and so does my wife, and we all know we gotta make her happy, lol. If you need anything please let me know. Best of luck.

Of course, the woman comes first!
Kind of why I want to keep some hair, to get a woman.

7-KETO MuscLean is not DHEA. It is simply one of at least 255 metabolites that appear in DHEA. Each individual metabolite does different things, and 7-Keto has no affect on sex hormones. It’s the singular metabolite that helps to boost metabolism. However, there are other metabolites that do affect sex hormones. When you take DHEA you get everything that affects sex hormones, and that’s what has the potential for side affects. I have a concern for hair loss too, and I would not take DHEA but I don’t hesitate to take 7-Keto Musclean.

It’s often assumed that DHEA and 7-Keto are the same and here’s a quick analogy to help it make sense: Let’s say that you’re allergic to chicken. Chicken is made up of thousands of things including lots of amino acids like L-leucine. If you take Muscle Mass which includes L-leucine it doesn’t mean your eating chicken. Nor would it have the same affect. By the same token, taking 7-Keto is not the same as consuming DHEA.

It is my understanding that other 7-Keto products do have DHEA. Since I don't use them or do not plan to use them, I haven't read labels.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Hi,

I was just reading the responses on 7-keto vs Dhea and I am curious as if someone with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) should be taking 7-keto... I have PCOS and my Dhea levels are on the high side. I understand that 7-keto doesn't affect estrogen or testosterone but does 7-keto raise DHEA levels?

Thanks
Lisa

Well, this is the first time I have taken it. It is really great and my hair is gone, but I cut it off.

I see no side effects at this time and I doubt I will.

A few comments , what makes some more prowen to hairloss , prostate cancer ect is you must have the recepter sites for the androgens to bond . The great news on SalPalmento is that unlike commercial products like Proscar , SalPalmento helps Test from converting to DHT vs actually blocking the receptor site like The proscar/prppecia .

My extensive quations to my MD were in the lines of 1)If a person takes proscar(prostate treatment ) or propecia (hair loss treatment ) will the products block good hormones from the good receptor sites in muscles , or block all DHT from the muscle reception , the answer is unknown .

I am almost 50 now and have really shut down hair loss with regular supplimentation of sawpalmento , but when I was 30 I really studied the impacts of the so called hair loss drugs and the side effects were and still are unknown as far as impact on long term body composition .

The big mystery is if hair from the back of the head can be transplanted ect to the front and not be impacted by DHT , it could be theorized that the hair from the back is not subject to DHT receptors . This is why the front hair line is so dramitized by DHT seems to respond to treatments that stimulate blood circulation --why ---its simple DHT shrinks the blood flow to the follical . so if your concernd about keeping muscle and your front hair line , the key is keep the test ----free and unbound , reduce Test conversion over to DHT , and stimulate front lobe circulation
