never used density before. about to start. was wondering what those of you who have used it think. is it better used pre or post workout?....or both ?


have faith....dig deeper....it's supposed to hurt

I was excited to see this post today because I’ve been thinking about Density a lot over the last few days. I just have to say, "I love Density!"

I took the product non stop from the time we came back out with it last year (around this time) until just a couple of months ago. I lost about 25 pounds while taking it, combined with my training program, cardio, nutrition and other Beverly supps. I have absolutely no idea why I stopped taking it.

I started taking it again on Friday and realized it's a supplement I should never stop taking...ever. It has so many awesome benefits...muscle gain/retention, mental alertness, improved strength and energy, increase recovery time, help with fat loss...and a benefit that I really forgot about, but is super apparent to me after just one weekend back on it – APPETITE SUPPRESSION.

This is something that I noticed majorly the first time I took it too. It’s not like taking a bunch of stimulants and not wanting to eat. It’s just this great mental and physical appetite control. Not having that crazy grumbling in my stomach and counting down the seconds until my next meal, not having a bunch of crazy cravings (pizza, Mexican, etc.) – especially over the weekend when cheating is so easy and really not thinking about eating until it’s time for my next meal. Several times over the weekend I thought, “Why would you ever stop taking this supplement, Rachel?”

Anyway…I take it a few different ways – all work great. Sometimes I take a couple with each meal and take 3-4 before training. Sometimes I do 3-4 first thing in the morning, 2 between my meals and 3-4 before workouts. My favorite way when I’m hard training and doing a lot of running, biking, swimming for tri training is to take about 5 in the am, 2 between meals and 5 before training and before long running or biking sessions.

DENSITY! Very versatile product! One of my favs from Bev. I always use them during my workout to ensure that I am NEVER dipping into my lean mass for energy. On an off-season plan, I take 10 Density throughout my workout to stay Anabolic. On a pre-contest plan, I take up to 20 Density throughout my workout to keep Anti-Catabolic! Very important supplement to use and completely invaluable when dieting down and keeping your lean mass!
