Contest Prep - Mass Maker?

I work out in the early a.m. I have a post workout shake for breakfast of 2 scoops Mass Maker/2 scoops Muscle Provider. I'm about 7 weeks out from a show. Any thoughts on when/if to cut back on the Mass Maker? I've been using it for the carbs. This is my 2nd show, last time I used oatmeal and Muscle provider in the final weeks.

thanks!

hard to say without knowing your bodyfat. If you are 6% already Id say you can probably do this up to the final week. If you are at 10-12% Id say ditch it now for BCAAs and 2-3 (depending on bodyweight) scoops of MP only.

I tend to make good progress using MM on a restricted calorie diet, but it all depends where you are sitting at 7 weeks out.

I'm in the 9-10% range right now. I'm taking BCAAs during training and Muscularity with meals. I'll give the MP a shot and see how I look/feel after a week.

thanks Jason for the response.

See what others say, but I would ditch it. You still have to cut your bodyfat close to in half in 7 weeks.

JDW,

I agree with Jason. If you are 9-10% @ 7 weeks out, I'd get rid of the Mass Maker, and go with 2 1/2 scoops MP Post workout with additional bcaa's thrown in. I'd also count this shake as one of my meals.

With Muscularity, I'd take 4-6 BETWEEN meals (to remain in a more nitrogen saturated state) and also take 4-6 caps upon awakening and again before bed, if your finances allow of course.

Good luck Smile
