BP, We are gonna needs lots and lots of more information to be able to help you out. List your current diet and then a lot of folks on here will be able to give you tons of advice to try to help you in your weight loss goals. List your current stats (age, height, weight, bodyfat% and goals). The products you mentioned are SUPPLEMENTS. Supplements alone will not make you gain or lose weight alone. Your diet and training will be 90% of the equation when trying to gain or lose. Supplements will only assist you with the other 10%.
You can also fill out the client profile at client profile This will get you a diet directly from Beverly advisors. If you want real results this is the only way to go !!!
If you are using a generic diet from Beverly that someone else used, your results may not be the same. If you contacted a Bev. rep and they've designed a diet just for you, stick to it 100%. The results are going to be 100%.
Don't worry about the overall weight. You may not lose but a couple of pounds in a few weeks.
I've been on a very strict diet, and yet, I've gained 3 pounds on a program designed to lose fat.

so far you both have made a lot of sense, but I know I have 40#s extra that I gained after a work related injury I was off for 1 year. currently I can tell you I take in about 2000 calories a day from chicken, tuna, egg whites yams, veges, and protein shakes. I may be able to get more specific later and I will get beverly to help with my diet. thanks BILL
With 40 lbs to lose, chances are that you probablly won't gain weight. You will be building some muscle mass, but you will probablly lose your fat faster than you build muscle. As Frank said though, don't worry too much about your weight. Worry more about bodyfat percentage. The best way to track this is with skinfold measurements, but if you don't have access to skinfold calipers, you can also measure your waist and biceps using a tape measure. You want your waist measurement to go down while your biceps stay the same or possibly get larger. Also, try not to lose more than about 2 total pounds or 1% of your total bodyweight per week. Any more and you will likely be sacrificing muscle.
