If I make an Ultra Size shake with heavy cream and water and keep it in the fridge for a few hours (at work, you see), will it keep ok or do you have to drink the shakes immediately after making them?
Thanks.

It will be fine as long as you keep it cold. I do that all the time. I sometimes even make it the night before.

Thanks Fatty. That's what I thought but I wanted to ask first. I'd hate to waste even 1 protein shake, know what I mean?

I'd like to hear from somebody at Beverly if pre-mixing and refrigerating our protein shakes for several hours is a good idea.

Yes premixed shakes will be fine. I do this everynight by mixing 2 or 3 shakes before bed to take with me to work during the week or "on the go" during the weekends. I hear people say they take all their protein powders to work with them. If I had to do this, I couldn't drink them during the day. Mix your shakes at night or in the morning and put them in a plastic bottle to take with you. If you keep them cold, they'll be fine. Just shake them up a little before consumption.
As an aside, I've drank pre mixed shakes 2 or 3 days after making them and they were fine just sitting in the fridge.

I sometimes mix mine in a small amount of water, then mix in a lot of ice-cubes. It will last a couple of hours outside a fridge, such as in a locker room and in the winter, it will hold in the car, if traveling. Use cubes and not crushed ice. If using Ultra Size, use a blender first.

Personally, I wouldn't premix for more than a day in advance.
