I am in the process of getting ready for a couple fall figure shows and am contemplating adding some supplements to my arsenal. I have used the protein powders but am wondering what else I should include. Here is my current diet:
Meal 1: 1/2 grapefruit, 3oz turkey, 3 egg whites, 1/2c oats Meal 2: shake Meal 3: 4oz chicken or tuna w/ 1 cup green beans Meal 4: 3/4 c cottage cheese, 1/2 apple, 3/4oz nuts Meal 5: salad w/ 5oz protein Meal 5: protein brownie with natural pb My stats right now are: 5'2", 109lbs, 15% BF Any suggestions on what to take and how would be greatly appreciated!! |

personally your diet is lacking, Id work on that before I start anything, but if you are content with it, then Id look to add:
Synergy maybe some liver tabs but include in protein intake and back off some from whole foods. multivitamin glutamine creatine 7 keto to burn fat. Those are the staples of what I usually take when prepping for a show. Ill add glucose disosal agents later in the prep to control insulin and Ill add Energy Reserve and GH Factor the final three weeks. |

I am open to any suggestions. I do have added fats in 3 of my meals which I did not include and am getting ready to increase my carbs substantially. I usually incorporate the Mass Maker on lifting days right now.

How far out are you, what is your bodyfat, yes lack of carbs is what i was referring to. We all know protein is necessary and in decent amounts, but carbs definitely need to be there this far out as a natural athlete....I can give you some recommendations based on your weight and current bodyfat and how far out you are. |

My first show will be Oct 18th and my 2nd will be Nov 1st. I am about 108-109lbs and on May 22nd my body fat was 15% using the skin calipers.
