Extra BCAA's or just UMP?

I posted this question on the f&p board and wanted to get some more opinions here.

100g of UMP

Isoleucine- 2.85 g
Leucine- 5.85 g
Valine- 3.91

also it has 12.91 g Glutamate (same as glutamine?)

I usually have 2- 3scoop shakes (93 g) (1 post w/o and 1 for my last meal before bed)

My question is- Is it neccasary to supplement with extra BCAA's? Like Xtend?

If so, which is probally the case , could I use less Xtend, and get the same results (for example 2 scoops Xtend during training, instead of 2 pre, 2 during, 2 post, which is what I was starting to do this week)

I weigh 195 lbs and am precontest, about 3 months out right now.

The increased need for BCAA consumption depends on

Calories, you are obviously dieting, but how much have calories been dropped so far

and

Stress, training, life, lack of sleep, etc.

There is less of a benefit for those not stressed out and dieting.

At three months out I doubt you are dieting all that hard...

So I would go with the UMP for now.

As the diet tightens and training intensity increases start looking to up the BCAA content of your daily diet and Pre/During/Post Workout Cocktails.
