Greetings,

Am doing well with my lean gain diet but fighting genetics. Very lean with striations in upper body however dipples above the knees and right below glutes.

I realize some fat gain will occur but is there such a beverly product that "targets" this area. I am doing 3X20 cardio sessions but don't want to add more due to loss of muscle.

Thanks in advance for your help with my question.

how long have you been doing the diet and workouts?? Women just have to be patient with the whole process and let time be your guide vbecasue somtimes you will need a lot of it to get to your goals, just hang in and don't rush the whole process!! TIME will be key here!! The upper comes in a lot easier, but the lower takes time!

I have been on this diet for three weeks this time but used the same diet last year. I know this too about women and the whole estrogen "fact" and actually "cut" it all off last year for my show and came in at 9%bf, I simply get frustrated that cardio seems to be the only thing that works. Just thought that maybe there was a synergistic formula geared to women. What about GH Factor? Would this help? or is this a sup that would be best for the "cutting" stage?

Even with a really sound nutritional program (like Bevs) and a rigorous training program, I can attest to the fact that you need to just see it as a lifestyle, and expect the changes to occur very slowly and almost unnoticeably. They Will come, however! I have always dealt with the exact same lower body issues, and it took me about a good 8-9 months of a tight diet plan, good supplements, and intense training to finally get rid of that problem area. I never knew it would take that long, but I also did not realize how 'deep" that butt/thigh fat goes until the end when I see the "true" size of my hiney without all the fat on it!! I also know now that thsi lifestyle will HAVE to be permanent for me, otherwise that fat collection will be right back in no time. Best of luck to you!!

Ah...the big "C" word.

Well, it has been my experience that some will never cut up unless there's some cardio involved. There's a fine line between not enough and too much.

Find out what works for you. I know as I have aged, I need a little more cardio than when I was a teenager (5 yrs ago...LOL).

I battle the same issue....even at a lower off season bodyfat and staying with in 10 pds of stage weight I will see some dimples in the same place you mentioned. I dropped my cardio this winter to 3 times a week and it was worse than ever and I am quite thin 5'6" and 128 pds..!! So I bumped back to my 5-6 days of cardio and it is slowly disappearing. It just takes time. So I think you have to find what works for your body..and for me at the age of 44 it takes strict clean diet, cardio and weight training needs to include so circuit type plyo training. I also stopped my Step Cardio and think this was detrimental to re occurance of the "c" word so I added it back in and bingo...much improved.

Thanks for all of the posts and suggestions! I totally agree about the tight/lean diet and of course the cardio. I was the leanest in my category in my last show so I can attest to it, though I would rather not put up with it (cardio) in my bulk up phase if there was a supplement that assisted in this issue.

I heard somewhere, I don't remember where that the GH factor helped with the lower body fat; can anyone tell me about the product? If this statement is true or not. Specifically, it was said that it would work in the cutting phase but I wondered if it would help in the bulk up phase too.

As a side note, I have gained another pound (yea!). I am small, all of five feet tall but I am weighing 10 pounds heavier than my last show still at 13%bf, I am a size 0 and 116lbs. At this point, I am happy with the results overall but always looking for something to give me an edge.

what it really comes down to is the diet and making it as precise as possible as this will be the remedy to your excessive cardio, if you get the diet down to where it does most of the work along with the weights, cardio will have to done very minimally!! Preparing early and being close to your comp weight makes this very easy!!
