I've been wanting to start using synergy during my mass building phase. I was just wondering why it contains creatine monohydrate instead of the newer version creatine (ethyl ester). I did not order synery because I am too concerned about the bloat associated with monohydrate usage. If I was going to use creatine I would be much more inclined to use CEE. However, i use all the other Beverly products and get good results. Thoughts?

If you look it up in the catalog, it explains why it uses Creatine Mono. It may not answer quite what you are looking for, but I can tell you this, Muscle Synergy WORKS!!!! I've tried a lot of what is out there (Gaspari Superpumped, EAS Phosphagen to name a couple off the top of my head), and I mean ALOT, and MS has worked for me the best. MS is actually the only one I've tried so far that has worked for me (I specifically remember taking 4 doses at once of Superpumped before I felt anything).

I'd be more inclined to try out KreAlkalyn anyway over CEE. But regardless of the creatine you try, the 'synergistic' package of MS works and without bloating--for me anyway. I think Bev Int has their 100% money back on it, so I say give it a try. You have nothing to lose.

Beverly chooses creatine monohydrate because it’s no gimmicks no frills and it’s always been effective from day one. Not to mention that most independent (meaning not performed by a money hungry supplement company) studies done on Creatine use monohydrate. It’s super effective and it’s also the version that is proven to work synergistically with all the ingredients in Muscle Synergy. There’s no reason to mess with an already perfect combination to keep up the supplemental Jones’.

The bloating that’s associated with Creatine comes from the fact that most Creatine products out there are laced with sugars and fillers. Creatine itself only stores water in your muscles – were you want it. In fact we recommend that precontest athletes load Creatine Select (which is also monohydrate) the final week prior to a BB show – and they rid excess water from under the skin. I would never recommend trying this with another brand or product. Sugar, filler or whatever companies can use to decrease cost and increase margin are things that cause subcutaneous water retention and bloating. Probably that best underlying sales gimmick to these products is that a bunch of sugar will cause fat and water gain. And since most people don’t get their bodyfat checked, they assume all this extra weight is muscle. Beverly user’s are a more elite group of trainees and they know what’s going on in their body. That’s why you’ll recognize right away that Muscle Synergy is putting real muscle on you.

Muscle Synergy is one of Beverly's best products. It is relatively expensive but it really works. If you want to increase mass and strength, look no further than Synergy.

Here's a question- do people take synergry and glutamine select at the same time? If creatine and glutamine compete for the same receptors, it wouldnt make sense to me to take synergy prior to workout and then drink glutamine select during my workout. However, I do know people that use both products simulataneously. I am infamous for going on every single Beverly product at the same time and the creatine/glutamine issue never crossed my mind

Yes, Synergy and Glutamine Select can be taken together. In fact Glutamine, Arginine, and the three BCAAs are what we consider to be the Critical Cluster of Amino Acids for a Bodybuilder. And those two products together deliver this potent combination in abundant amounts. Glutamine and Creatine will not interfere with one another. There’s numerous research you can find that proves they work excellent together. Plus the results that you would experience when taking Muscle Synergy and adding Glutamine Select during training will put any concern you might have to rest – and that’s what really matters. Just don't get so caught up thinking about what MIGHT happen in theory when it's already being proven what WILL happen in reality by countless Beverly clients.

Plus,

Ive been told to take MS on a completely empty stomach. It was recommended that I take a dose before bed and the other dose first thing in the morning. I take my Glutamine while I workout.

Therefore the "competition for the receptors" should be minimized.
