Hello. I'm new to the Beverly site. I'm considering switching over to Beverly products from BSN. I've had good results with BSN, but like to spend my money on a product that does more research than advertising. Also for about the same price as BSN products I can get twice the Beverly with better quality. I'm currently using the following BSN products and would like a similar Beverly product. I'm 34, 6'5", 265lbs with about 25% BF. I'd like to get down to about 10% and retain as much muscle mass as possible. Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

BSN:
NO Xplode: 30 mins prior to workout
Cellmass: post workout
True-mass: twice a day

Here's the Beverly products that I'm considering switching to:
UMP
Muscle Synergy
Creatine select plus
7-Keto MuscLean
GH Factor

try this stack out

Muscle Synergy first thing am and 30 min before workouts.

Glutamine select 3 scoops while working out
creatine 3 scoops while working out

ump and mass maker pwo

ultra 40's 4 with each meal
mass aminos 4 with each meal

Follow that supplement strategy and watch the results come in. Also check out the 50-30-20 diet on this site. That will really cut the fat down and help build up muscle.

just curious why are you making the switch?

gettinripped513...thanks for the info. i'll try it out and post my results. to answer your question. i've been weightlifting for many years now but i decided this year to take it seriously and clean up my diet/workout and maybe enter a competition in a year or two depending on my progress. i've been researching beverly for a couple months now and like the fact they've been in buisness for a while and still remain true to providing quality supplements and have not sold out to advertising. not to sound like a commercial, but sometimes the biggest names do not produce the best product for my money.

You are absolutely correct Jack. Most of these companies are dumping quality sources in exchange for higher $$ Marketing. This may be a good idea for a quick buck, but man, when consumers start getting more diarrhea and less muscle mass per gram of substance that all adds up in the end at a loss for the consumer...

Bev is THE undisputed champ as far as quality products and quality control goes. That is why they have been able to stay in business. Quality product translates into quality musclular gains and that is how Beverly has maintained such a strong allegience of consumers! If I ever see the day that GNC starts to carry BEV or Bev stuff is being pushed in FLEX MAGAZINE, the world will have gone mad and I will be forced to actually have to eat 6-7 solid meals a day and NO Supplements..... that would suck.

Now, I know that you are trying to LOSE bodyfat, but you have GOT to try MASS MAKER either Pre or Post Workout!! That product is KING!!

Pre: 1 Scoop Muscle Provider, 3 Scoops Mass Maker

Post: 6 scoops Mass Maker, or, same as above.

good luck to you!!

I know we're getting off topic on this, but I want to comment on the latter portion of your comment.

I like the idea that consumers want a top quality product, but why do you imply that you will abandon Beverly if they start selling at GNC (I assume you include other retailers in this group)?

I would absolutely love it if I went to Wal-Mart, Target or the local gas station and saw Beverly on its shelves. That would mean, theoretically, their volumes have gone way up. If their volume goes up, their overall bottom line should improve. As long as Beverly's suppliers can keep up with demand, there's no reason quality will go down. I don't follow your logic.

However, I bet your sentiment isn't unique and could be a factor in why Beverly hasn't went more 'mainstream'. Body building is a cult following, and like most cult followings, if anything goes to the general public, it loses its base and growth and can eventually fail (e.g Pearl Jam, Myspace.com). However, Wal-Mart started as a small, grass-roots five and dime store that is now the largest company in the world. I'd love to see Beverly continue to grow through grass roots culminating in a company as profitable as any other giant CPG/Retailer.

You are right. I agree. My original thought was that if they could carry Bev at the same cost as they would any other run of the mill Protein Powders, I would assume that bev had cut corners in quality in order for GNC or other retailers to make a profit on Bev Sales (also to be price competitive with the other powders)... Obviously this is all hypothetical and completely crazy because Bev is the best...

Anyways, I see your side of it also, it would mean that Bev would have grown exponentially in order to compete with all the other products on the shelves of major retailers.... That is the ultimate goal anyways. I guess I was just overstressing the importance of QUALITY PRODUCT.

Tou-shay Xavier..... what are you somekind of accountant or something??! Wink
