When using or thinking about using supplements, they should allways be researched and examined. You should always look at labels and know what you are getting into.

Mass Aminos are a broad spectrum Amino Acid tablet with sources from casein and whey hydrolysates. To be taken with meals to further enhance the protein absorption of that meal, or taken during a workout.

Muscle Mass tablets are BCAA's. Branched Chain Amino Acids. These can be taken just like Mass tablets, but don't have a caloric value and are soley the amino acids L-Leucine, L-Valine, L-Isoleucine. The are specific to they type of diet that you are doing. This is a "diet specific" supplement whereas Mass Tablets can be used yearlong regardless of your diet type!

Hope that helps.

Extending on this subject a bit-

I take muscularity on-season, and that works good. But off season, which one is better for a figure competitor; mass or muscle mass? I was taking mass, but now I'm wondering if that is not such a good idea being it does have a caloric value. I have never taken muscle mass.

Thanks! =)

It is was a great idea!! There's no telling how much food you'd have to consume to equal the amount you were taking in a day. From what I understood on your post, it was off season. In reality, it probably wasn't that much.

Mass is mostly taken 4-6 weeks out and prior to workouts.

OOPPPS! I looking through the thread, I meant Muscle Mass. Mass is what we used to call Muscle Mass, not Mass Aminos.
