I was interested in trying Dr. Serranos zero fat loss plan but he recommends his 100% MS and Muscle Sythesis Amino Load.

He claims they are free form amino acids and bcaa's.

Does Beverly have the equivalent version of these I could use? And does it have something in them that Beverly doesn't have?

I've used them both. One is a bcaa formula, and the other is an EAA formula. They are good products, so I won't lie to you there. Beverly's are better. At least from a comparison standpoint. Mass Amino's and Muscle Mass (bcaa's) are unparalleled. Density is what I am on now. This is an EAA combination comprised of 8 essential pharmaceutical grade amino's. I have been extremely happy with the results. One thing I've noticed since starting on Density, is that I am consuming more carbs yet losing bodyfat and retaining leanness even though I am still in a caloric surplus.

Hey Aram! Can you do me a favor and post your current diet with your Density intake? I am really interested to see how you are using this product in conjunction with your diet. You aren't the first person I've heard say the same thing about eating more carbs yet losing body fat?? Really interested!

J and Chunky,

My system is rather simple with the Density. Currently I am using it only pre, during, and after training. Closer to my show (in October) I plan on using it with meals also. I am dieting on high carbs. 350gr of carbs a day. Since my remission, my body is responding to food as if I were 20 years old again. LOL. My macro's are approximately 225gr-PRO 350gr-CHO 40-45gr-FAT

Bodyfat is @ 4.2% and I figure I can still build until 8 weeks out. I want to be positioned where I'll be able to diet on 200gr of carbs a day until the final week where I will drop my water a bit and increase carbs to 600gr per day. I'll also be eating beef and grapefruit. GDA's seem to be the buzz nowadays, but you guys have to understand that it's been around forever (yeah, the typical "been there, done that" thingy) What I like to do is increase l-carnitine, B Complex (yup, great GDA) and Vanadyl sulphate. VS is touchy though, because I believe for it to be effective you've got to take more than the recommended amounts. When you do this it becomes risky due to its toxicity. I will only do VS the final 2-3 weeks, albeit at a higher dosage. I also take cranberry capsules and horsetail. The cranberry assits in making you pee more, and the horsetail is a wonderful natural diuretic which, if combined with dandelion, will not purge your system of potassium.

The Density seems to be more effective than Lean Out, as far as getting lean is concerned. Two different mechanisms involved, but I'll be sure to include Lean Out and/or Energy Reserve somewhere during the course of my prep.

Thanks Aram. I've started Density, but not much. I'm only taking 5 during the workout and 5 after. I'm mainly concerned with keeping or gaining size without fat increase. I keep waking up about 2 hours after going to sleep with a hunger. Half of the time I fight it off, the other half, I'm getting up to eat. Cardio is going well. I'm feeling tighter and tighter.

It's going to be the close one Aram. I think the judges will still give it to you when we are at the Grand-Grand-Grand Master Nationals. Big Grin

Love those macros, thanks for sharing on the density....4.2% though, you kidding me how in the **** do you maintain that? I stay "lean" but 4.2%???

I take van at 10 mg way less than the toxicity levels, 4 x daily, 40 mg daily. My glucometer readings say its VERY effective at that rate with the chrome poly.

Never tried B Complex though.

One of the things that may be possible is the older you get, chances are you store more fat internally around organs, some more than others. Aram has great conditioning, too. It is possible to maintain health and still produce all the hormones via good diet and supps, though not everyone can.

So, Aram what you are saying is that the Density some how is increasing your appetite, getting you leaner while consuming more carbs ? Am I right, or am I fishing for the wrong answer ? Because no matter what I do, I somehow cannot eat more than I think I should, but, I am lifting and hauling more weight than when I was younger( I am 51 now ). I got some Density but only used it a few times. I also recently purchased the Muscle Synthesis and will be trying that in full swing from next week. Aram, what show are you doing in October ? Robert.

I think my low levels of bodyfat are a combination of genetics and all the metabolic and hormonal problems I've had over the last 25 years. I've never been recorded over 8% but I believe this has also held me back in some ways, particularly with putting on mass.

As for being a freak, I wish I were, but alas this is something I will never aspire to. Frown

You've also got to take into consideration all the shows I've done. I'll be closing in on 100 very soon. I am positive that this has wrecked my body to no end. LOL.

Natural, I am doing either an INBF or OCB show this October. Next year I plan on doing 4-5 shows. As for my carb sensitivity, or lack thereof, I believe you should keep carbs high in the offseason. When it's time to diet down, you can do so with more carbs. Other than that, I really don't have any answers why I am tolerating carbs so well. I usually load fat on peak week, but have also had success with carb loading. I go with my instincts for the final week.

I also have plans on competing in the grand-grand-grand masters championships with Frank in another couple of years. You can best be sure that I will load up on Density for that one Big Grin

I'll have to stay far, far away from guys like Jason though. If I competed against him, I'd be forced into eternal retirement. lol Roll Eyes

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to go with the Mass Aminos and Muscle Mass for pre, during, and post training.

Now for the creatine part of my cycle. Has anyone tried Ian's Protocol (that didn't respond to creatine before) and it worked?

The only creatine I ever responded to for some weird reason was Phosphagain. Looked up the patent and it said it's active ingredients were Creatine, Taurine, and RNA (from yeast). Have tried many a creatine since then with no results?

Expensive pee. Check.
