Well I take many beverly supplements, but have not taken creatine select. What are your thoughts on taking this for a figure competitor? I am 5'2" about 118 lbs and about 16% bf right now. Contest time I get to about 107 lbs, 12%bf. I am doing another show in June, and I am wanting to add a bit more size, more so in my legs. I've always thought that this supplement was for the massive bodybuilders =)

Any advice?

Thanks!

Use Muscle Synergy, if you're not already using it. Creatine will definitely add some size. I haven't used it, but others may have some better input when to stop taking it prior to the show.

June? ABQ?

Creatine is notorious for cell volumizing. Sounds bad eh? Sounds like it is only for massive bodybuilders and powerlifters? Not really.

Here is the deal Kelly, not only will Creatine help you recover from exercise, aid in muscle sparing during hard dieting/calorie restriction, and keep your strength up during dieting, but it volumizes the MUSCLE-Cells within the muscle belly via hydration! Sure if you take to much you can get subcutaneus water storage, but with the right dose (Muscle Synergy or Creatine Select), this hydration effect will be solely in the Muscle-Cells/Muscle belly. This is GREAT for Fitness or Figure competitors because you want your muscles to look as round and shapely as possible right? Round Muscle bellies = Symmetry?

Go for it Kelly, creatine is a win win situation.... but don't be taking 20grams of it a day ok Wink

Ahhh! I see!

I think I might incorporate it into my training to see how it goes. I currently take muscle synergy (about 4 prior to training), and I've really noticed a difference in my strength. I bet creatine select in conjunction with synergy will give me a huge boost -and fill up my muscle bellies =)

I guess I could research how much I should take and when..

Thanks for all your advice, Frank & Vijay!! =)

PS- Frank, yes- I will be doing the two shows here in albuquerque- The OCB on 6-14-08; and the NPC two weeks later, 6-28-08. Cant wait!!
