When taking Ultra 40 and Mass Aminos "with meals", should they be taken with shake "meals" also? Won't the shakes provide enough aminos on their own?

Can I get away with taking both the Ultra 40 and Mass with "food" meals only?

That would make sense, wouldn't it? However, it is not a MUST. If you're tired of swallowing pills, grind them up and toss 'em into the shake.

Ultra 40 is a different type of protein and Mass Aminos just adds a better profile to the meal, the shake in this case. It's like adding 100% Egg into your whey shake.

Frank is on the money. "Shakes" ARE "meals". Adding a few Ultra 40 and Mass to every meal not only increases the protein profile of all your meals, including your shakes, but the addition of the 2 increase you assimilation of that protein profile also!

You are what you eat?? Maybe, but more importantly, You are what you ASSIMILATE!

I have historically taken Ultra-40/Mass with whole food meals only due to the quality of Beverly's proteins (which are predominantly the only proteins I take)
