Preworkout Boost

Hello all. I train in the morning in the fasted state (wake up between 5 and 5:30 and get to the gym a little before 6). I mix 2 scoops of GS and sip a little before and the rest during my workout. I am looking for the perfect supplement to give me a boost since I workout so early in the morning. I am not new to Beverly and have tried Up-Lift about a year ago, but at the time was on a tight budget. It did not do what I thought it would do, but I think that is probably because I only took 1 scoop before training. I basically just want something to take before I workout (and during if needed) that will give me a boost (mental focus, pump, energy, etc.) The GS seems to help a little, but I want a little more than that. I have been taking Muscle Synergy for the past few days, and while I feel like I am getting bigger already, and like I am lifting a little more weight, I do not feel a noticeable pump when working out 30-45 after taking it. Is MS primarily a muscle builder, as opposed to say a preworkout supplement? Is it supposed to produce more results after a longer time taking it, or should I take more than the 16 tabs a day at 185 lbs? What should I be taking and how much to give me a noticeable preworkout boost (mental focus, pump, energy, etc.)? Was I just not taking enough Up-Lift at the time for it to give me what I am after? Thanks for any help.

You are a perfect candidate for Up-Lift and the benefits you seek describe Up-Lift perfectly. But 1 scoop would not be enough. You need at least 2 scoops prior to training with an option for a 3rd scoop during your workout. I often do all 3 scoops prior to training. Start with 2 scoops preworkout and go from there.

Your thinking is on the right track. Muscle Synergy is about muscle gain, enhanced recovery and protein synthesis first. It helps tremendously as a preworkout aid too, but those are secondary benefits of Synergy. Up-Lift's sole purpose is to improve training or athletic performance.

Nick,
First of all I want to say Beverly product are #1 the best quality supplements available. But , in the off season, and when the budget is low, I will sometimes substitute. I train at the same time you do between 530-600am. Upon awakening, I immediatly take 2- 200mg caffine pills, 1- 325 grain Aspirin, 5 grams of glutamine powder, 5 grams of Creatine powder, and 1 gram of BCAA powder, 3 grams of Arginine, off to the GYM within 30 min. I'm training. I also take BCAA caps. throughout the workout. I think it covers all the bases, Anticatabolic, Anabolic, NO2 for pump, and a stimulant from the caffine. But as I say again there are no real substitutes for Beverly. Good Luck..

Very similar scenario to mine. I have Up-Lift coming today and will give it a try tomorrow morning.
