I didn't get any good pics, With both my wife and I competing, I get too wound up to get any shots (even of her)
The event did go very well. I thought that the contest was very well run, and judging was fair for the most part. I did see a couple of odd things in two classes however, Men's masters, and in a figure division. One woman who won her division, placed behind a competitor in her crossover who she beat in her previous division. OOPS!
I placed 2nd in the Middleweights. The class was very competitive. It is a bitter pill for me as I placed 2nd as well last October. I can't take anything away from the winner however, he was outstanding! He might even be a Bev user? Frank Lagarde

I didn't get to make any contact with the other Bev folks either, I am curious to see who was there and how they did.
Congratulations! 2nd place is quite good in MW for this contest. I competed in the show last spring, and both the MW and LHW classes were pretty big, and IMO the most competitive.
Although I haven't competed many times, I think you've got to measure yourself against the condition you came in last fall. After all, you can never control who else will show up. You can come in ****** condition and win the whole thing if no one competitive shows up, and next time not even place when you're in the best condition of your life because 5 national level contenders happen to show up.
Congrats again. I hope to compete in the fall contest this coming October, so if you choose to compete I'll see you there!
