The OCB Midwest States 2006 is on!

The event will take place on November 18, 2006 in DeKalb Illinois at the Egyptian Theatre. Last year competitors showed up from across the country to compete in the inaugural event. Prejudging started on time at 11:30 am and showcased incredible drug free talent. Fortunately each of the judges was a seasoned competitor, judge, promoter and in some cases all three.

The finals started at 7:00 PM. A little over 2 hours later after entertaining routines,
a Drug Free Pro Guest Poser, raffle and Layne Norton tossing free -shirts and water bottles to the crowd, the Finals ended.

All competitors and their fans were invited to Sponsor Bar and Grill O'Leary's for free Pizza. OLearys was packed with most of the judges and almost all of the competitors, their families, and friends. Everyone shared stories of dieting, training and what could be done better next time.

This year is going to be an even better show! We are partnering with some of the
same great sponsors and more. We will also be helping the USMC kick off their local Toys for Tots program so bring a new unwrapped toy and tell your friends
and family to do the same (we are even knocking $5 off the evening show tickets
for those that bring toys).

If you are looking for a fun, organized show that starts on time the OCB Midwest
States 2006 is for you. Whether your first or your 10th show, you are guaranteed
to have a great time!

The OCB Midwest States is less than three weeks away!

On November 18 the Midwest States will return to the Egyptian Theatre in DeKalb, IL. That is less than three weeks away! Are you still planning to compete? If so get your entry form in the mail…the entrance fee jumps $10.00 after November 1st!

* A note for those competing in some of the other shows this November and about crossing over. Why not do two shows or crossover? Why not? There is no reason not too! Maximize the competition experience and your time on stage by doing two shows or crossing-over. Get all you can for your hard work! As a fellow competitor I know from experience that it is well worth stringing two or three competitions together and only dieting once!

If you are on the fence about competing, maybe waiting for that right time, the right time is now. The sooner you get on stage the sooner you can start enjoying all of your hard work. The Midwest States is a great show to jump in and get your feet wet.

If not competing have you thought about stopping out to see the show??? Get a few of your friends and come one out. Remember bring a Toy for the “Toys for Tots” program and get $5.00 off entrance to the evening show. Are you a college student with a current ID? Bring it and get in for $15.00!!!

A number of Drug Free Bodybuilding Pros will be on hand. Sean “Sully” Sullivan will be on hand to judge AND guest posing. (Sully just won another Pro Card at the USBF Nationals on October 14, 2006.) Come see the posing routine of someone with over 50 competitions and a handful of Pro Cards on their bodybuilding resume…it is guaranteed to be exciting!
