All...Congrats to Biker Chick for completing her first show, you did great!! And came home with some hardware!!

Congrats to Scotty (not sure what placing(s) you took, missed some of it - I know you took the open Bantam). You looked great.

Chico looked amazing, striated glutes, lombar, triceps, wicked ripped - he took the LHW class, hats off to a very polished athlete that deserved to win a very tough class!!

I came in at my all time best at 193, that's an 8 pound gain over last years show. My conditioning was right where I wanted it. Final week water and carb management was pretty much right on. At 5'11" I just give up too much size to the other slightly shorter competitors, so unfortunately I did not place and suspect I finished 6th or 7th out of 12. The LHW from this show was the toughest class I have been in up to this point.

Also, many thanks to Fitdoc for the much needed support and feedback after pre-judging as I was a little disappointed with how I finished.

I will get some pics up as soon as I can.

Also as an FYI, the BW Winner (Scotty), the LW winner (a friend of mine Tim Hobson), the LHW winner (Chico) are all Bev users, and I suspect that Shiloe Stienmetz won the HW class and I believe he is a Bev user to some extent also.

That's a pretty good representation of Beverly that's for sure.

Dwayne
ps - It was good to see Jeremiah out and about working the Bev booth.

Thanks for the compliments, D! It was nice to hang and chat with you at the show. You definately have made improvements since last year, and, honestly, that is the name of the game. It took me a few years to really find what works for me.
Many thanks to Roger and staff for their help and support this year. I love you guys!
I will be detailing this year's prep in an upcoming Beverly publication.
This is a great forum, and I hope we all continue to learn for each other.
Chico (aka Tony Poggiali)

P.S.--Also nice to see Jeremiah and meet the FITDOC!

E68...Not sure on the numbers from the Bantams and Lights, but there were 12 LHW's and 14 HW's and at least 10-12 middles. It was a big show, and the quality this year was up from last year in my opinion.

Great job everyone! I have yet to be in a show where I ran into another BI board member but I would think that it would make the whole experience more enjoyable - glad to see that the BI team did us all proud!

I will also be looking forward to Tony's story -sounds like an awsome job of contest prep. Scotty is getting to be another Sully or Aram - justs keeps on keepin on with an arm full of tropheys to show for his efforts.

Dwayne - glad to see that you were able to make such good progress from last year and that you improved your conditioning from your earlier shows. Thats excellent.

Biker Chick - Way to go on your first show! Plus I like to see the fact that you are already planning for this coming years improvements! Fantastic dedication!
