This is the last one for me this season - I'm in the 10 day out mode and trying to keep everyones advice in my head. It was the 2004 Roanoke show that got me thinking I could do this - LOL I think of the money I could have saved had I missed the show. Ha, but then I'd still be 218 pounds 30% bodyfat - I hope to go in at 175 and 9% B.F. It feels really good to start this at age 47 and see it through - Can't wait to start planning for 2006! Once again thanks for everyones advice!

G,
Welcome to the age 47 club. That's quite a transformation you've made. Big congrats dude. I'll tell you this... you haven't reached your peak as a bodybuilder. You will get better and better each year as long as you stay focused. Most importantly, you will reverse the aging clock and enjoy improved health. I won my first Pro Card at age 40 (when someone, two weeks prior, had told me I was on the decline as a bodybuilder)so don't fall for any negativity. You're the boss of your own destiny.
If you need help for your final week, give a shout, otherwise good luck at your show!!

You never too old, especially in bodybuilding to compete, and if that is what keeps you going, why stop. Smile JUST GO AHEAD AND DO IT !!!! These guys on here know what it is all about, Am I right, Aram ?? --- I am 48 and just won two pro-cards in one show, so if you put your mind to anything, you will achieve it. And the thing is ,I know that I can get better each and every time, so always think positive all the time. Good luck to you. --- Robert.

Robert.... I have a rule of thumb good buddy...Never argue with a Pro Natural bodybuilder.
Because they usually know of what they speak. Wink

Unless, of coarse, his name happens to be Aram Hamparian Roll Eyes

Cool

Ah dude not the fish diet!!! I was on that for 17 days and thought I would hurl with each bite. I finally found if I steamed everything and put it all together with some onions I could manage it --- as bad as it was it dropped my body fat from 16 to about 12.... I feel for ya bro! hang tough!
