Hey Dwayne and Biker Chick,

I'm totally bummed that I missed the Natural Northern... it would have been great to meet you both. I gathered from the posts that the show was large and highly competitive.

Dwayne, it sounds like you came in at your all-time best condition. That's sounds like a big-time win to me! Great job. Biker Chick, rumor has it that you placed, congrats!

Now how about some pictures!!!

Hey Tom...Thanks. I got some pics at home on the digital, need to set some time aside and get them up online somewhere. I have been meaning to do that, and will soon.

Hi Tom! Hey - I work in Elyria!!!!! Big Grin

Thanks - I placed 4th in Women's masters and 4th in Open Heavy weight - but out of 5 and 4. That's ok - this was my first time and I did a lot of experimenting to see how my body reacts to certain foods. I came in about 6-7 lbs. too heavy, but now I know for next time!

Here's a link with some photos.

Hey BC...Those before and afters are VERY impressive. You need to give yourself more credit! What was the total weight loss? What was the total BF % reduction?

BC

Terrific accomplishment. There is no question, that combined with determination and your natural hardcore bodybuilding structure (yes - HARDCORE), you are going to win a show much sooner than you think. Wink

WOW!!

Biker Chick, your transformation is truly amazing. It's hard to believe that the body can make such extraordinary changes in such a short amount of time (not that 16 weeks of pre-contest dieting felt short to you... it probably felt like an eternity).

Talk about a small world... I live in Elyria, but work in downtown Cleveland, so unfortunately I'm not in Elyria during the day.

I know that there are a handful of Beverly people in the Cleveland area... maybe some day we should all meet for lunch or something.

Again, congratulations on your achievement! and stay with it!

Fantastic work and accomplishment BC! Your second pic is an especially impressive transformation - would not be able to know that it was the same person if you did not tell us!

I have sent you a PM.

Thanks VA - I cringe when I look at the photo!!! What's worse - is I used to be even 25 lbs. heavier than that at one point. Eek

You guys and gals are the best. I was a little afraid to share the photos - thanks for being so supportive!

Va - I pm'd ya back!

Tom - thanks!!!!! Big Grin

Actually, I live in Brunswick, but unless you're from here, no one knows where that is.

I think a lunch or get together is a FABULOUS idea!!!!! Let's pick a time and place!!

Amazing transformation, and great job on the sucessful turn out of your show. It does'nt matter what you placed, you set a goal and you achieved it, you are your own champion.. Only another bodybuilder can understand what we have to go through to achieve this. The self satisfaction is what does it for me.. Once again, GREAT JOB!!!

Thanks John - I really appreciate it.

Actually, since you offered . . . I really want to put on some size in the off season, especially my back. What's my best plan of attack?

Thanks Lauren. I had lost about 40 lbs. 5 years ago and was slowly inching back up. In these before pics I was a size 8-10 - used to be a 16 Eek

That was my first show. I'm training for #2 and #3 this fall. Sadly, I look a little bit like my 'before' pics again, but I'm working on it.
