LOL Bob, I'll bring the salt and anything else I can help you with. This will be the first year, going back 20 years, that I won't be competing due to a health issue that has stung me from out of nowhere. Whether I'll be able to compete ever again...only the Lord knows. However, I am going to do my best to attend the show since I have a young man who is entering the novice class, and the week after is doing Felix's show in Nyack. This kid's back has to be seen to be believed! Eek

Anyway, if I am there, I'll do all I can to help you out (not that you need any help!) I also want to congratulate you for your win earlier this year in NC. Well done!! Smile

Take care and good luck with the rest of your prep.

Thanks Bob....I'll see you at the show buddy Smile

Gianni, good luck with your prep and I wish to add my congrats in advance for your first show. Smile My kid will most likely weigh around 165 for the show. Don't exactly know how they will divide the novice group. It depends on the number of competitors, I guess.

What kind of stuff do you do in the last week?

Also had a question...Do you guys use synergy all the way through to the contest?? I've been using...not sure if I should continue right on through...

Thanks!

For the last few shows I've used Synergy till the end, and have even loaded up on it the day of the show. The benefits have been great. I've found it a fantastic method in retaining lean mass on a hypo-caloric diet. Further, it has helped me lift heavy right into the show with very little, if any, strength loss.

Gianni, Thanks for the complement! Make sure you indroduce yourself that day, I'll be happy to help you in any way , if you need something. As far as M.S. I'm right with Aram on that I use it right up to and including the day of the show. ( I take about 20 approx 15 min. before going on stage. ) About the last week diet , yes this is definatly an involved and crucial time. I use a last week process that Mark Ritter sent me , he used it for the Aloha Classic, I've been using it for about 5 years, it works good for me. I'm sure if you contact Beverly they will send you one, that might be suited for you. Best of luck . Stay in touch these last couple weeks and let me know how things are going. Looking forward to meeting you.
