** run4fitness' husband here **
Though I would share a funny story with everyone who is dieting for a show.
Tonight I LOST my car in the gym parking lot. Yes I could not find my car anywhere or even remember were I parked it. After heavy leg training and HITT cardio I found myself walking around the parking lot looking/hoping to find my car. Yes, what an idolt I am.
Of course I finally found it, right were I parked it.
Boy do I need carbs, for I do not know which way is up anymore......

I am one depleted, tan, overtrained, execited, bodybuilder 3.5 weeks out from the NGA Buffalo show.
Good luck to all in their upcoming contest!!

Hi Chris...while I did not lose my car I did get low on gas 40 miles from home...went to get my pocketbook..GONE! I must of left it home..but no fear a $20 is always stashed in the ashtray..OPPS GONE TOO. I had to have my hsband meet me at a gas station. Later that night I saw my pocketbook on the floor in the back seat, in my defense the pb is black and so is the carpet. Needless to say I did not clue Al in on the fact it was with me the whole time...shhhhhhh !! don't tell !! See you soon.

Leslie

Well we have all been there, probably the dumbest thing I have done while carb depleted and worn out is I spent ten minutes looking for my glasses that I thought I lost or left them somewhere and the whole time I pushed them up on my forehead. This is when you know you are in dire need of a large carb meal!!!!

Tammy, I am not thinking so much about food. I have restricted so long I think I killed my appetite !! I am look forward to NOT doing cardio every day and having more strenth in the gym. I am getting worn out !!

The Buffalo show is usuallly a fairly decent size show, bigger than the last show you did in Buffalo. The NGA Show Mike did in Syracuse also ran a good size, maybe 65-85. But now he is switched to USBF....that may make it smaller as it is his first one in the New Org.

Hang on..2 weeks 5 days and counting...
