Thanks to Beverly and everyone on this board for their support of the OCB Midwest States on 11/19/05.

The show was a huge success!

Things started ON TIME with the USMC Color Guard presenting the flag and Ms. Jessica ZenZen singing the National Anthem.

In the lobby before the show and at intermission....House of Pain was selling apparel, Fitworkz.com/Ergoteknix Inc were selling Beverly, Bodyworks Massage Therapy was giving chair massages, and Monster Energy had their Monster Truck and Mavens handing out samples, the whole can too not just a dixie cup!

The competition was incredible, particularly in the Open Men's division. Really tough class that I am glad I did not have to judge.

I can not recall the last time I saw such a close class and overall.

The overall Open win was decided by 1 point and saw Rob Patrick as the winner (Beverly user). This was a testament to the experience and knowledge of our judges. We were fortunate to have such a judging panel.

The Open Women's was something else as well. Laura Heyne won the Overal and also won the Women's Bench Press competition bencing 145lbs while dieted down. Incredible.

100 dollars was raised for the DeKalb County Shrine Club to cover the cost of transportation for children and their families to and from Shriners Memorial Hospital...

Nick Katrichis guest posed...wow what a drug free statement! He looked incredible...nothing like the bloated out of shape stuff seen at some recent events in the area.

Layne Norton handled the expediting and hand some free tshirts and goodies out to the crowd.

The event ended at a reasonable time AS PLANNED allowing everyone to visit OLeary's pub and grill for free pizza. Almost all of the competitors and staff went to OLeary's.

I am happy to say the show was a great success and appreciate all the help.
