Can anyone post any info. regarding the OCB BODYBUILDING , I have been to the website and checked it out. I want to know from competitors who competed with this organization, about how the shows are run ? I compete with the INBF and my last show was about 3 weeks ago, the OCB is putting on a show about two blocks away from me on June 11th. and I was wondering if it was worthwhile to do the show? I would appriciate your info.
Did you do the Nutley show?? In which class did you compete?? I was there with my wife as she competed in the figure??

I did the INBF Best in the West in Phoenix, a Don Robinson show. But I was at a show where you and the wife had also competed, that was Northern States Supernatural in Buffalo in 2004.I am still tring my hand at the pro-card thing maybe one day a miracle might happened, if you don't try, you don't have a chance, so I am going to keep on trying.
In which weight class did you compete?? You live where now??

OCB is awesome! I competed with them in Fall 2004 and won an overall show. They are up and coming - big time! They have added shows all across the U.S. and the Nationals this year is in Miami. I also judge for the OCB and it is a very well organized, professional and growing organization. They also have a Pro Division now, IFPA. I highly recommend the OCB !! Val

I am an OCB promoter and IFPA pro. The NM promoter is a great friend of mine and put on an excellent show! Lee Shafer also ran the ANBC Nationals last year, and had around 70 in the show. May show "Spirit of America" had 67 last weekend and is an IFPA proqual. Check out the show photo's at www.SOAbodybuilding.com This may sound like an advertisement, but I have done over 60 shows and some of my various placings are: ANBC National Champ, Muscle Mania DC Champ, NABBA Mr USA Short Class, NPC CT and northeast USA and various NGA, NABF and OCF class and overalls and the reason I went with OCB when I had the chance to promote with any of the other org's is simply because they put the athleat first. I am given control over how I want to run my shows and the assistance I recieve from the orginization is incredable. Just check out the level of comp I had in my show this year! After 25 years and 8 org's I will stick with OCB from now on (oh, and USBF as well, but they have not branched out that far yet)

This is for Frank, the show is to be held downtown Albuquerque on June 11th. I got the info. from the OCB website. It's to be kept in the KIMO theatre. Sulcop, I compete with the INBF and I think they run a good show, so I was just checking with other competitors to see what they think of OCB because I had my share of promoters just wanting to put on a show and collect, then I got to compete against someone who is using something on the list and we don't get tested or proper polygraph but still they asked for a fee for drug testing. I cannot afford to waste my time, money and effort of dieting to compete in a show I can't win. So this is why I was asking about these show.Thank you for the info.

Are you going to be do this one? Seems like my convention trip is going to be cancelled so I should be there.

I'm still undecided but time is short only two weeks left. I will be there one way or the other, as a spectator or competitor. The show is being held about two to three blocks from my house. I have not competed with OCB before or seen a show by them, currently I'm with the INBF. Had my share of so-called natural organizations so I am being carefull. Anyone else planning on doing this show in Albuquerque? Keep training hard because I just got motivated again.
