We'll try to get them up on the site in a day or two. Rachel or I will post most notable Bev clients from the show that we know Monday.

Here's a brief summary:
About 235 competitors - 60 Figure and 175 bodybuilding. 2100 attended evening and approximately 800 at prejudging.
There were at least 80 Team Beverly competitors that we know of (meaning frequent contact). They were a huge asset to the show as a whole as they set the tone for the other competitors - that if you have completed your preparation for the show to the best of your ability then you are already a winner - and at the show the idea is to help and support each other. One of the highlights was watching the sportsmanship and backstage camaraderie. The audience fell in step with the tone and was the most respectful and kindest (as in total support for the competitors with no degrading of anyone on stage) I have ever experienced in 27 years of promoting the Northern Kentucky.

The downside was the evening show went until 12:40 but when you have 235 competitors (very, very few crossovers) and you present each one on stage individually, and present 125+ trophies - it couldn't be done any more efficiently. Next year maybe all teens, novice, and masters will pose but only top 5 in each national qualifier class - but we really like to have everyone who has worked and prepared to have their time on stage.

John Clark won overall title.
Team Beverly First Place Highlights:
Nathan Hater - won the overall novice.
Cristen Schuerman, Melanie Hull, and Estee Saylor each won their class and Figure (more on all the other great Bev figure competitors later in the week).
James Johnson won Men's LW,
Bob Maurer won MW in the open
Jennifer Myers won women's HW.
Alex Ramirez won under 200 Master's 40 and Burke Chandler won men's over 60.

I apologize if I left any other Bev winners out and will give you more placings later, these are just clients who won their class that came to mind immediately with no results in front of me. Tune in tomorrow for more results.

Congrats to everyone who worked so hard to be their best in a very competitive show!

Roger - If you have a way to post the pics of the top five winners in each category, or to post a link to the pics that would be great. It seems like it can take months before pics from this show surface.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show and have decided to do the show next year in addition to the Natural Ohio. I am now 200% motivated to kick some butt! Man, was it a long show though.

I would like to thank everyone who supported me through out my contest prep, mainly Tim from Beverly, without him I wouldn't have been involved at all. I competed in the Novice MW, and placed 12th. I am happy with my placing. This was my first ever show, with only 8 months of training, and 8 weeks of dieting. I feel it was a great learning experience, and I will be looking forward to next year.

I wanted to thank the whole Beverly staff with their help on preparing me for my first competition. It was truly a great experience. I am still in shock that I placed second in the LW novice. It was amazing to see the transformation of my body from 12 weeks out to the the day of the competition. Thanks

Joe - I'm sure you probably already developed your 35 mm film, but if you take your film somewhere to be developed, for around $3 more, you can also ask for a digital picture CD of your prints. I know Walgreens likes to develop the pictures and make the disk at the same time - not sure what other companies do. Anyway, for me its $3 well spent. I've retired my scanner Cool
