Congratulations to Dave Candy a BI client and active board member here for his excellent showing at this years NPC Nationals this weekend. Dave is competing as a Bantamweight and once again came to the show with excellent conditioning. The results are not out yet, but based on the prejudging pictures that I have seen Dave will do very well, certainly in the top 3 and I would not be surprised if he won his class. Very impressive for a natural BBer. Excellent job Dave.

http://www.flexonline.com Again great showing Dave Candy. Your first shot at the nationals and already a second place finish that is amazing. Keep your head up because the first place winner was what 42 years old that is a lot more lifting experience. DAC

Thanks everyone for your congratulations. I owe Mark Ritter a great deal of thanks for his help with my contest prep. During the last two week, I coresponded with Mark every day or two by phone or email. His advice really helped dial me in.
As for my take on the show, it was disappointing getting so close to my Pro Card but coming just short. However, I do realize that taking second at Nationals is not an accomplishment to be overlooked, and I am greatful to my family, friends, and others who were supportive through the entire process.
Now I'm into the offseason and starting preparation for 2006.
Dave you looked amazing on stage. I was 5 rows back from the stage at the show in Atlanta at tne Nationals. It was quite a suprise to see the that different level of competiors all in one place. Especially at the hotel the Hyatt walking around all day and night. Your conditioning was great best of luck to you in 06!
