17 year old high schooler looking for a diet Please help|

I am currently 17 yrs old and still attending high school. I am 5-11 170 and I work out regularly and would like to start getting a little more serious about things. My hardest part is what to eat. I just really try to stay away from junk food but sometimes i falter. I know eating is one of the biggest parts of working out so i know nothing when it comes to the science part. If there is any set meal plans that you guys have i would love to try one.

At you age eat A LOT. You are right to stay away from garbage, but even that will be beneficial to you at this age IF you are working out. ****, even at my age of 30, I eat Wendys after a workout 1 per week, 3 stack attack double cheeseburgers and a large fry. Why? Becuase its **** good and sloppy foods in moderation and the rights time can help growth.
Here is a template. Meal 1: Egg whites/2 whole eggs/oats Meal 2: 2 scoops protein with white potato or Mass Maker Meal 3: chicken/rice/veggies Meal 4: Same as #2 Meal 5 (post workout) lean ground beef/white potato Meal 6: Protein powder or egg whites/oats Meal 7 (before bed) generous helping of cottage cheese. Supps: creatine and glutamine is all Id recommend at your age, tried and true supps. Notice I didnt list portions, you just NEED to eat the foods listed until full, maybe even past that point. Also, get some rice cakes and natty pb, in between these meals have a few of those.... You have no idea how anabolic your body is right now. Follow this for a 4 weeks and report back..... I am going to start this monday but i am having a little issue on when to exactly eat. Here is my schedule tell me what you guys think.
Wake up 6:40 arrive at school 7:40 eat lunch 11:00 leave school and arrive home at 2:50 thanks |

1) Get up earlier, up at 620, eat at 630, pack meals for the day.
2) Meal 2 930 eat shake meal, put oats in the shake, use quick oats. slug in between bells, make it work. 3) Meal 3 at 11 or so as lunch 4) Meal 4 around 2:30 in between bells, use shake quick oats again. I assume you train here somewhere 5) Meal five after training 6) 2-3 hrs after Meal 5 7) Meal 7 before bed.... where theres a will theres a way. You better believe Id figure it out somehow, lol. |
