What a subject, huh?
Hello all, been using Beverly supplements for a while now. So, I come to all of you for some advice on a couple of topics... 1) I'm currently at 215lbs with 18% bodyfat. Obviously, I would like to drop that down to at least 15, preferably closer to 12 or so, at least as an initial goal. I was wondering if you could point me to a diet here on the Beverly site, or anywhere for that matter, that would be good at helping me lower my bodyfat % without at least loosing muscle, gaining muscle would be even better. Any suggestions on diets here or elsewhere? 2) My blood pressure is a bit high, I was hoping you all could give me some good pointers on ways to go about lowering my BP. I'll admit, I've been *very* skimpy on cardio over the past few years... I'm going to pick that up a bit. Thanks in advance.. --jeff |

If you goto the BI main site and fill out a client profile Beverly will make out a diet to fit your needs. It is also free.

Adding in cardio will be a good start. As far as diet, a lean gain diet would be best. You can find examples on the site, but it would be helpful if you post your current diet to give you any sort of exact diet suggestions.
One thing to monitor though...if you're trying to monitor your blood pressure, you'll need to watch your Saturated Fats, so you may have to modify the lean gain diets (Fewer egg yolks, very lean beef or even ground turkey breast, 1 TBSP Flax Oil instead of 2 TBSP Heavy Cream). |
