I always interrpreted it the other way. I crack open 6 eggs and then take out 4 of the yokes to get to 6 whites and two yokes.

OK - I give up - it is all relative and my version of 6 plus two has worked for me - but if they were to say have 6 egg whites and 2 whole eggs it would be clear to everyone.

6 egg whites plus two yokes does not mean plus two whole eggs to me. Put two whole eggs in a recipe that calls for two egg yokes and your fancy dessert may not turn out exactly as you expected. Fortunately two extra egg whites is not going to hurt anyone here! - lol

I agree 100% with you MadDog. It should say +2 whole eggs if that is what it is suppose to be. I always did it the way you do, never even considered it being the other way.

I recommend touching base with your nutrition specialist to be sure what they intended for you to do, but when I write a diet with 6 egg whites + 2 yolks that means 2 whole eggs and 4 whites.
