Trying to clean out the cupboards and refridgerator and i found one of my vices.

Not on a precontest diet, do you think that low carb tortillas are ok to have? Egg whites, lean beef, veggies, rolled in a tortilla with some hot sauce is the best breakfast burrito. I could have that every morning!

Heck I don't see why not! I have found a good brand that makes whole wheat (and I have checked the label, they use 100% whole wheat flour, not enriched) and are also low carb-they are a medium sized tortilla but they do sell a larger version as well which still only has 80 calories, 14g fiber making it only 5 net carbs. Here is the web info......
(oh and they also come in garlic/herb, original wheat and green onion - they are soo good!!)

Love these tortilla's!!! With so much fiber and so low in cals, I think you can't go wrong. Sometimes you must find a way to make the diet work for youBig Grin For me these tortillas and fat free cool whip are how I am able to stay on the diet in the mist of pre-contest. I figure that the few extra cals will prevent me from really going overboard at another time if I am so strict. Now I do a bit of extra cardio to make it up, but to have a breakfast (or lunch or dinner) burrito... now that is worth it!

Also, who of us couldn't use some extra fiber?

Sorry from me too since I was the one who mentioned the things!! I had thought I wrote La Tortilla Factory until I re-read my post and it was not there!
I also love Wasa Crackers - they have about 35-40 calories per cracker and are about the size of a dollar bill. They come in a few different varieties too (rye, sourdough, multi-grain....) and since not being pre-contest I might grab one of those, slap some cashew butter (yep, just like p.b. but made with cashews AND have less calories and sugar for the same serving amount! got it in the organic food section) on it and even some sugar-free, low calorie jam. MMM MMM GOOOOD!!! Big Grin

Those do sound great. Don Marcos also makes a good tortilla with 60 calories, 2g protein, 6g fibet and 12 grams of CHO. They are Don Marcos Healthy. They taste ok but I'm going to try the kind that you suggested thank-you.

Brand: Santa Fe Tortilla Factory. (Smarty) You may have to take a trip to the fancy type of whole food places or one of those natural, organic food stores.

Maybe you can order some online.
