I just received my 12-Week-Out Beverly diet. Meal #3 calls for "2 Tbsp Cider Vinegar and 1 Tbsp Sunflower Oil (or other vegetable oil) for a dressing" to go on my salad.

1. Is it okay to use Newman's Own Oil & Vinegar instead? I've read that you can, but don't know if people were talkign about inside 12-weeks.

2. If so, how much Newman's dressing should I use?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, Paul Newman's oil & vinegar dressing is great to use. It tastes amazing and has high quality ingredients. If your diet calls for 1 TBS vinegar and 1 TBS oil, use 2 TBS Paul Newman's oil & vinegar dressing.

All...I went to the grocery store last night and they no longer had the Newman's Olive Oil, they had a Red Wine and Olive Oil Vinagrette by Newmans that was similar, I am using that.

I don't know Dwayne - I think that's almost as big of a transgression as Shorty eating his extra portion of chicken! How are you ever going to progress with all of these compromises?

I have actually had a hard time finding Newmans Oil and Vinegar from time to time also. The salad dressing aisle is getting to be like the cereal aisle - 200 plus varieties to select from! I had to go to a few differnt stores before I found the right one. Maybe Roger and Sandy should just start stocking it and add it to their product list!

If you guys are looking for an alternative to Newmans I will use Good Seasons package dressing. You have to buy a Good Seasons shaker and the bottle tells you how much vinager, oil and water to add. They have different flavors and I like it more than the Newman's. The fat and calorie content are about the same so you won't be COMPRIMISING to much.....

Plus you can do half olive oil and canola or any other combination of oil....

and for Frank I am sure you can use peanut oil, but it probably will not give you the same sensation as PB.

You guys!! LOL

Yes, nothing like peanut butter. Well, maybe... Big Grin

In regard to oil & vinegar, try using the flax oil. It really makes a great salad dressing.

Mike, you'll be alright. Someday. hehe

I will tell you one thing, Mike, you've come a long way. I'm just starting to pull again. It's an awesome feeling just stacking on weight, isn't it?!

No. Don't back off. Get another...hehe

I hate when I find tablespoons by the sink with PB residue in the morning. I know someone else is helping me finish off my stash. NOT!!!

No, I don't think you should back off. Honestly, get another and see what it will do to you.

You mean I am not alone? I woke up this morning to hit the treadmill and that darn container had somehow become almost empty?? I think someone must have broke in last night and taken my PB !! ( I live alone, can't blame anyone)
I guess I have nothing to lose but fat so I will have to try to grab another container soon. Ah ****...I am now a proud member of the PB BOYS club Eek Big Grin

This is a public statement brought to you by the law office of SHORT AND SHORT.
"At no time did I Shorty mean to offend any of the female members of this board by starting the PB BOYS CLUB". Since being notified of my obvious oversite the club name has now been changed per its president FRANK.

Anyone think we can get our "guru member" changed to PB CLUB MEMBER Smile Smile Smile

Can I be part of the club???????????????

I go through 7 lbs in about 2 weeks!!!!

I am glad to know I am not the only one with the PB addiction in the middle of the night.

My wife yells at me for two things:
1) Double dipping (although she does not witness it and I deny it.
2) And smelling of PB when I get back inot bed and breathing on her.

See..this is what I needed. I honestly thought..no way any of the other folks will understand that your having trouble with this at night. I mean they are people who compete.

Thanks to everyone who is honest on this board. It gives me confidence that I can do this and who knows..maybe one day in the future make the stage Smile

From the sublime to the bizarre -

I had heard that sniffing natural peanut butter could be mind altering but I had never before seen proof until now. I understand that it can be toxic at high levels of concentration - soon your eye sight will begin to fail, your hair will thin and fall out. Neither of you have these symptoms yet do you???

The two lead Peanut Butter-a-holics have taken us into the twilight zone. They have hijacked this perfectly good thread about oil and vinegar and turned it into an entirely different food group. These people are dangerous, dangerous I say... Shorty is that same unbalanced person who overindulges in chicken isn't he??? and Frank is off over in the corner grunting for meaning in his life. It is sad really - but we are here for you guys so reach out for help when ever you need it.
