i am six weeks out from contest and i'm close, but not quite where i should be at this point. i reached a plateua with my progress and haven't changed much in 3 weeks. i train hard 5 days a week and eat the same diet every day.
meal 1: 2 scoops protein meal 2: 2 cups veggies chicken breast 6 oz. meal 3: 2 sccops pro meal 4: 4 oz. chicken 2 cups salad meal 5: 2 scoops protein i do 40 minutes of cardio 6 days a week. im so scared i'm not going to get there. today i ate a few foods not even on my diet because i was frustrated and ready to throw in the towel. but i know i have to be doing some things wrong. i'm behind the mark and don't know how to fix it. i have to get my body fat down so that i can reach the goal i have worked so hard for. any help at all will be so appreciated. |

Have you tried eating more natural protein (egg whites, etc), and are you doing any carb-ups?

once a week i have a cup of oats precooked and an apple. i am very bad about not taking in enough whole foods....i'm a shake fanatic, and i actually don't love chicken without SMOTHERING condiments all over it. i'm a condiment addict...

Your diet is almost entirely protein and pretty low calorie. Also since you are doing so much cardio I have a feeling you have lost some muscle and it is causing your metabolism to slow down. At this point you should try adding some carbs to meal one and a couple servings of healthy fat throughout the day.
