This website should help you as it varies depending on the size of the egg:
www.fitday.com

My trainer, JTheo, has me weigh everything prior to cooking. From oats to 99% lean turkey breast to potato. All pre-cooked weights.

Approx. half of the protein content within a whole egg is found in the yolk. So yes, separating the yolk will cut the protein of a large egg from 6 grams, to just a tad over 3 grams. All dependant on what size egg you go with... an extra large egg yeilds 7 grams of protien, and a Jumbo yeilds 8 grams of protien.... good stuff in that Jumbo egg Smile

Rule of thumb - always measure food in the state that it's in when you buy it, which is typically "precooked" (assuming your amounts are calculated based on the nutritional info on the packaging). Food packaging always gives nutritional information for the food "as-is" unless otherwise stated (which is rare).
