Let's see, I was interested in competing in next year's competition in March. I've managed to scale down to about 15-17% bf, using what I think is the fat burn diet w/out the carb up days. I know that's no were near where I should be, but the contest is still nine months away. Can I make it? what diet should I be on to reach that goal? I've read the different phases for pre-contest dieting, but that's usually three months out. Seeing as I've never done a contest I'm not sure where I should start. Stay on the high protein diet, but include carb loading days? I'm also taking ultra 40/mass aminos/lean out and glutamine select. I just started taking the creatine select this week. Are there any other supplements I should incorporate at this stage in the game. Sorry, for the short novel. Thanks again for any guidance!

Carlos, I am in the same exact boat with you. I am about 20-25% bf however. I would like to compete some time next March or April as well. I am anxious to hear the results of this.

Me, too. At 25%, the Northern Ky in 2008! Following high protein/very low carb at the moment....Kind of lost, I guess! Around 1300 to 1500 calories a day....

Get a copy of the Pre-Contest Workout Manual from Beverly and follow it. It is one of the most comprehensive contest prep books available, full of information that will save you a ton of time and money searching for a plan. The methods are effective and proven, which is a rare combination in this age of overhyped diet and supplement advertising. I guarantee you will not find a more thorough source of pre-contest information.
