I use a scale to measure my food by grams or ounces. The Beverly diet will often call for 2 cups of salad or a cup of broccoli. How does that convert to weight? One cup = 8 oz.? I know I read not to be too worried about being exact but I feel better for me knowing I have concrete information or else I could easliy skew my numbers. I'm trying to keep real tight to lose fat and build lean muscle.
Thank you for your time.

Fresh or frozen? I would use the same volume as 1 cup = 8 oz. I did get carried away and start weighing in grams.

I say, just be active and don't sweat the small, minute measures. Where those numbers would really count is on the higher calorie foods such as those containing fat or high concentration of carbs.
