For my weight and height. What should my bodyfat be? Weight 130 pounds, height 5-3, and bodyfat 8%. Some people say that I should be happy with 8%. Not competeing I just want that look.

I'm happy with my size but it's the bodyfat that gets me. Really stresses me out!

I would recomend pulling a diet off this site and follow it. MAybe start with the 50-30-20 diet and see if you can reduce the fat.

If you are female, thats really low to maintain all year. So I wouldnt advise going any lower.

If male, I think Id more interested in adding some size than going lower than 8%. For someone not competing 8% is perfect on a male, can see separation, looks great at the beach and its maintainable, much lower and you wont be able to maintain it. You could get there for sure, but its unrealistic to try to maintain it lower.

I enjoy trainnig, training heavy and intense and much lower than 8% training starts to suffer a bit, unless you are genetically predisposed to be lower than 8% which very very few are.

For about 3 or 4 months I've been using Beverly Fat Burning Diet #2. I'm thinking about using the Maximum Muscle Gain diet. Gain weight without gaining fat as gettinripped513 suggested.

Jason I think that I'm going to listen to you and stick with 8%. Thanks for you help.

If you want to maintain 8%, your weight gain should be about 2 to 3 lbs in 6 months. That will be a realistic, gradual gain that will stay on you, full, solid muscle. Any more, expect a fat gain.
