How does caffine play a part in your diet? I drink about 100 ounces of water a day and about 48 ounces of coffee. I do not do any other beverage. I'm thinking I need to cut back on some coffee, your thoughts? I think I drink so much because I am cold. Thanks.
48oz of coffee is a lot, probably should lower that. Caffine is a stimulant therfore it speeds the metabolism so it has fat loss and energy benefits. Try limiting your intake to 8-12oz in the a.m with breakfast and 8-12oz pre workout.

48 OZ IF DEFINATELY A LOT. CAFFEINE DOES HELP WITH METABOLISM, HOWEVER IS DOES HAVE A WAY OF DEHYDRATING YOU, LEACHING MUCH NEEDED CALCIUM OUT OF YOUR BONES AND ROBBING YOU OF VERY IMPORTANT VITAMINS AND MINERALS WHEN IN EXCESS, WHICH 48 OUNCES SEEMS TO BE.

Thank you. Since I posted I have worked hard at keeping it to a min of 16-18oz for the day. I brought decaf tea, herbal tea, and green tea in to compensate. I realized that it is a lot and I just wanted to hear it from someone else as well. Otherwise, the diet is going good. I am 138lbs and at 16.48%BF with a little over 6 weeks to go. 5'6" tall, 44 years old, and working really hard to be in a top 5 place, I hope. Have a wonderful day, and thanks for having such great supplements and protein. Not sure what I would do without it.
