Howdy.. Just received my New Client Profile Diet and would like to discuss my meat choices and receive additional suggestions from the forum group! Thanks! :-)

Here's what Bev Nut suggested to me:

Meal #1 - 5 oz very lean meat
Meal #3 - 8 oz lean meat
Meal #5 - 10 oz very lean meat

Here's what I was thinking for those meals:

Meal #1 - 1.5 1/4 lb ground beef patties (90% lean)
Meal #3 - 1.5 1/3 lb white turkey burgers OR 2 1/4 lb ground sirloin patties (85% lean)
Meal #5 - 1.5 boneless skinless chicken breasts (baked)

Thoughts from the forum? I would love some additional suggestions so I can mix it up and to find out if I've got the right idea!

Additionally... I don't know much about fish (don't eat it) but I know it would be highly beneficial to include somewhere. Anyone enjoy some good fish in their diet? I would prefer non "fishy" tasting fish if possible! Hehe...

I've had Tilapia before and it was tasty with a lemon pepper sauce. Never enjoyed salmon much as it almost always tastes "fishy" to me.

You should be doing 1.25 for meal #1 and #2 and about 1.75 for meal #3.

What you really should do is get a digital scale.

For the second post, smoke the fish. Use hickory for the salmon and you'll see a major difference. Mesquite just doesn't do it for salmon. If you try adding some Sezuchan sauces that may kill any tastes.

Fish can really spark up the thyroid and natually help you shed fat.

Frank,

I've never heard that about fish. Do you have any info on this?

When I can find links, I'd post them, but I haven't had those links for some time because I haven't been at "home" where my computer resides.

Fish...iodine, mainly salt water fish.
Cold water fish such as salmon will have your omega fats that also aid in body comp fat reduction.

Some of the pros at the gym will use the fish beginning 8 weeks from contest.

Pros: Ronnie Coleman, Ntuk Ntuk, Quincy Taylor, to name a few. Jacked up systems really doesn't mean anything because this works for all.

ARMADILLO!! Wink

You shouldn't grow tired. Change everything and that's being consistent. Don't just stick to patties. Mix in with veggies as a stirfry, even do the eggwhites that way. There's a million ways to mix and match. Patties are the best way for speed and saving time, but how about just whole peices/slices. Smoke the meats as well!!
