I think I remember hearing at some point that it was okay to substitute Newman's dressing in place of flax oil. Is this true? Also, is that Paul Newman's salad dressing? I am looking for something to give my veggies and salads a lil kick....

Sorry for such a Roll Eyes dumb question...just don't want to make a mistake and use the wrong thing...

Thanks !!!

Yo Shorty, What's up?!?!?!

Yeah, it's Newman's Own Olive Oil & Vinegar. It's very good.

I use it on my salad. Sometime I will use Newmans Light Balsamic Vinegrette (has some olive oil in it) and about half the flax.

What up??? Many thanks Dwayne!!
I'll get this eating thing down pat yet..lol

Glad to hear the squats are getting better... you'll hit 500 in no time !!

I pulled a PR of 475 in the gym Monday... Squats tonight... hope to get 475+. Still feeling out the pec injury. I haven't touch any thing to do with chest since the 22nd. I might put some weight on the bench tonight and see how it feels. IF its still bothering me then the meet for the 13th is out! Frown I just don't want to go to the meet, get all psyched up after squats then go for a PR in the bench and in up tearing a pec or something like that. I can live with missing a meet versus having to take 6 months off with a major injury...

Its always something....lol

No problem. Yeah, you gotta be careful. Do the smart thing and heal. It messes with your head a little, but you'll thank yourself later.

500lb squat Eek

I might be able to get that off the rack! Ha!

I did some of those reverse hypers last night, need to get my lower back and glutes jacked up so I can get out of the hole.

Later!

Hey guys..just found the Newman's dressing in the stores. Also found out that they have a "low cal version" of the Oil and Vinegar. Which one do I pick? Also, what about the italin dressing? Allowed? Geesh...maybe I should just move to Cold Springs...

Shorty,

Better yet, let me help you with the meal plan and you help me with the PL!!

My numbers have taken a big fall. As you say, "It's always something!"

Remember to keep up some of the carbs as you're lifting heavy. (The ole sweet 'tater and oats). Once you get your strength, keep going for the multiples. As you shift over to bodybuilding, concentrate on 6-8 and the "pump".

But, of course, you're not going to worry about bodybuilding as of yet. I'll have to move near you to keep that off your mind. Big Grin

As a powerlifter, the "pump" means nothing other than being tired. LOL

Thats a deal Frank !!!

After Saturday I am making some changes. I am not happy with myself right now at all. I have gotten way too lazy (I guess) and have put on way way too much fat. I know you say "it doesn't matter" but I can't take it. What is the point of being strong as an ox but not feeling good and not proud of how you look?Don't get me wrong, I love how much strength and muscle I have gained but I need to get back down to under 10% for ME. Maybe its crazy but I gotta make myself happy.

I hope to work something out where I can continue to improve my lifts and strength but mainly I am gonna focus on getting back down to around 8% and then begin packing the muscle on properly.

I am hoping to talk to Rainer and possibly make a trip to his gym once a month to take my workouts to the next level and have someone help track my progress. It would only be a little over an hour trip and I am more than willing to do that once a month. Hopefully with some help from Rainer, Mark helping me with my meal plans and all the great people here support (like yourself) I can take myself to the next level in 04.

Still not worried about bodybuilding... just building that rock solid base.

Hopefully after Saturday I will have my 1300lb total and will begin laying out the plan 04.

I will prove all the "nay sayers" wrong.... Wink
