Heavy cream vs. skim milk

My diet plan says to take 2 scoops of Ultra Size with 12 oz. water and 4 tbs of heavy cream. I didn't have any cream so I was just mixing it with skim milk and it was very good. I got some cream today and made it that way. YUCK! Most of the cream stayed in the shaker, the rest came out in clumps like butter. It didn't taste bad but it didn't have the smooth consistancy of the skim milk version. My goal is to gain muscle WHILE losing fat. Is there anything wrong with using the milk or do I really need to stick with the heavy cream? Thanks!

The cream should not clump up like that.

Yes there is a difference. Milk is loaded with sugar, lactose. Sugar up, insulin up, fat burning down....

Cream is all fat. This slows the digestion of the protein, adds calories with out increasing insulin and has some anabolic properties (believe this is due to the relation to saturated fat and hormone production, testosterone).

Using milk is not the same thing.

Buy another quart of the cream and try it again. Milk fat, HWC, is what gives high end ice cream is smooth texture and rich taste.

Good Luck!

Yes, ETX is right. The cream should not bulk up like that. I recommend buying another brand or check out the expiration date to be sure it is not getting near it.
