My shake options are 2 scoops of Ultra Size or Muscle Provider, and 2 Tbs. of whipping cream. I've got a container and a half of 100% Egg that I'd like to use up, and was wondering if it might be ok to substitute, one scoop of either US or MP, with a scoop of 100%?
So I'd be doing 1 scoop of US or MP, and 1 scoop of 100%, and 2 tbs. of whipping cream. I was thinking that since the Egg is a high grade, slow acting protein source, that this might work out?
OOP's...almost forgot...I'm not prepping for any shows.

Hi Klipsch,

I LOVE the 100% Egg. This stuff literally saved my bodybuilding hopes from burning to the ground. I have a whey allergy. Actually, it's more like a milk protein allergy. It's different from lactose intolerance. I can actually process the milk sugar just fine. It's the milk protein (and since whey is derived from milk, the whey protein too). So, for me, it's the 100% Egg or nothing.

That being said, the people at Beverly said that I would lose nothing by switching to the 100% Egg protein. Egg is possibly the perfect protein out there. I've seen plenty of studies that place egg above or equal to whey. In any case, I'm sure you'd get an amazing result by blending the two proteins together.

RJ-
Just curious how you drink the 100% egg? I'd love some ideas!! I can drink it mixed with US or MP but have a hard time with it alone.
Thanks!

I would agree that you can easily substitute the 100% egg for either one scoop of US or MP. The primary goal is to get a quality protein source and any of the three will fill that need. I have never tried 100% egg straight but have always mixed it with at least one other BI protein product in a shake. Mixed in as a blend the taste is fine.

Hey Shred Betty!

I'm sorry I'm just now getting back to you.

I actually just mix the Egg with about a 1/2 can of diet strawberry soda, 4 strawberries and some equal.

The 100% Egg is SO much thinner than the MP or U-Size. So, it's quick and easy to drink as well. I actually would prefer the 100% Egg over the other proteins even if I could drink them.

But I'm a pretty simple dieter. Even when I wasn't dieting and just eating everything in sight, i would always just eat the same things over and over again. So, I don't need a lot of variety in my diet at all to be content. That being said, I don't have a lot of different recipes for the 100% Egg. I had to fool around with several drinks to mix with it though. The egg by itself is very, very bland. But that's a good thing though. Because the Egg will pretty much take on the taste of whatever you mix it with, with some exceptions. Diet Cola tastes terrible with it, lol.

Tell me what you think.
