Eating every two to three hours and still hungry. Here's me...

I'm 5'0, 112lb, 14%bf, BMR 1225, eating between 1350 to 1500 cals day. 50-60%p, 20-35%c, 10-20%f depending on the day as I cycle my carbs and fat. Endomorph thighs so I can't eat any more carbs. BTW, only oats and sweetpot for my carbs, very ridgid.

To me it all looks fine, I really don't want to add more cals because I need to stay between 12 & 14%bf until cutting time so I don't know what to do. Grumble in my tummy is not fun.

Any advice?

How long have you been eating this way. What was your diet before? Are you preparing for a competition? For me I just started eating six smaller meals a day three weeks ago and I'm hungry all the time too. But my stomach was used to eating three to four large meals a day and now its different. Your stomach will shrink back down.

Hmmm.....I guess it is four weeks now. Stomach shrinking, gosh that would be great. I wondered if my metabolism is revving up too.

My next show isn't until June so I allow myself a re-feed day and for any slip ups. If I feel like adding sunflower seeds to my salad, or having a slice of bread it's not that big of a deal right now but I try to not to this sort of thing on a regular basis.

It stinks being so small, I can hardly eat anything. For my size, I need 1600 to start gaining so I have between 250 and 300 cals to mess with right now. My meal plans will get tighter in two months so I want to keep it always under control.

What about supplements. Hoodia? Anything help with the tummy grumbles?

I started a diet at the beginning of the year. I was used to eating 2 bigger meals a day. Now I am eating 5 small meal (in my opinion). I am hungry 30 min after eating a solid meal (2nd & 4th are protein shakes). I more or less think of it as a mental thing...I drink water to calm the rumblings but it is all good. I think its because I'm losing weight now. I have lost about 18lbs or so in a month, so I'm not complaining.

Being hungry is a problem for me as well. I really don't know how to solve it. Sometimes I drink decaf coffee in between meals to try to satisfy me. I have recently added more Omega 3's thinking that it would help me to feel full longer.

Well, at least I know I am not alone on this. Huge motivation for eating fibrouse carbs, huh?

Anyone have success with supplements for this hunger problem?

I don't really know of any supps, but I find that apples make me feel fuller between meals if I need to. It is also a mind thing as well, I love to eat and when Im not eating, I'm thinking of my next meal. Maybe rice cakes will help, if that is in your meal plan.

Mugg, I do agree with it being a mind thing.....or at least for myself. I am always thinking about what I am going to eat and when Smile....

Yeah, now I'm thinking about six meals a day instead of three. It gets easier as the weeks progress and your stomache is adjusted to smaller servings throughout the day. I sit at a desk alot of the time 9 hours a day and I get bored and just want to eat something. Mind over matter though.

Yeah, I sit at a desk most of the day as well. It will get better as we stick to it!

Yea, I think about food all of the time too. I really do love food. We eat really clean, even the kids keeping the quantity low for my little frame is hard. To make it worse for me, I have to think/plan meals for the family. We keep all of the naughty foods out of the house so that helps but when preparing noodles or something yummy, it is hard to stay out of their food. So they end up having meat and veggies a lot. Poor kids.

I am new to this site and I have the same problem. Lipodrene helps me but it is getting pulled due to the ephedra rules again so I don't know if you can buy it anymore
